Will The French Kiss General Motors?

kirkkerkorian.jpgHow much do you love Kirk Kerkorian, who owns nearly 10% of General Motors and recently proposed that the trouble car company enter into an alliance with Nissan and Renault? Pure evil genius. So what if GM faces declining profits, plummeting sales and a declining market for gas-guzzling SUVs in the age of Really Effin’ Expensive gasoline? Renault is 15% owned by the French government, otherwise known as the folks who own the exact same percentage of Airbus parent EADS. Of course they’ll go for it.

The French are like Life Cereal’s Mikey, but with cheese breath. They’ll eat anything.

Getting nasty and elegant as usual Carney?
And well informed for what I can judge!

This is yesterday's news:
http://today.reuters.com/news/newsarticle.aspx?type=businessNews&storyid=2006-07-04T083721Z_01_PAC006608_RTRUKOC_0_US-AUTOS-RENAULT.xml&src=rss

Do you know Reuters?
It's pretty up to date news.
This might be a good thing for you to look at from time to time.
They are way ahead of CNN as a matter of fact.

Yeah, yeah. I know. We didn't publish yesterday, though. And normal people weren't reading the internet. They were celebrating Mike's birthday.

Oh!, by the way, uncensored as well;
Up to date and uncensored.
A real dead on target news agency in these times of National Democratism.
Unvaluable!

CNN published yesterday, so did KHUO, the spirit of Texas.

Nasty, nasty Carney!,
You mean you were among these evil doers, courageous americans who can touch the border of the Outlaw world.
I got chills in the back.

Reminds me of that New York's Lou Reed when he was singing:
"You might have a gravity knife and a colt .38, but you still have to ride the train..."
Then I realized later on that the "man" was refering to that kind of a colt:

Boy, was I led on!

Posted by , Jul 05, 2006 2:51PM

I wonder what the .38 standing for?
Anyway, I hope you had a geeeewwwwd time celebrating Mike.

The French are like Life Cereal’s Mikey, but with cheese breath.

oops!
you took away the wine stained teeth as I see!
That is courageous Carney!

Posted by , Jul 05, 2006 3:38PM

Pretty soon, it will read:
The French are like life!

Posted by , Jul 05, 2006 3:42PM

That is good though.
This is exactly the point I wanted to put my finger on.

You should clean up your own backyard before you go on cleaning other's.

That is an improvement Carney.

Just learning the trade!

After a moment's thought I decided that "wine stained teeth" sounded too sexy for a family oriented blog.

Posted by , Jul 05, 2006 3:52PM

Sure my boy, sure!

Actually Kerkorian may be catching a free ride on the back of the Plunge Protection Team:

I hope the Frenchies go to hell because GM dont need them IMO, in this partnership Nissan and Renault will be able to get all the techno GM have from Two mode hybrids GM engines E 85 engines and nothing more, people support the American companies if we go at this pace the rest of the world will own the United States except us

Posted by , Jul 05, 2006 10:29PM

Well Oscar, I guess you will just plow what you have been sowing for quite a while now.

This was exactly my point some days ago with the Mittal-Arcelor merger.

We have been under fire (american fire) because we didn't want mister Mittal (mister cheap steel) to buy the European high grade steel maker.
Like, you know, I would not like to see the Brewers of Bangalore buy one of the oldest and finest champagne maker on France (true story).
Like I wouldn't want to see Levis buy Chanel.
Like I wouldn't want to see Harley-Davidson bought by Royal Enfield of India.
You know; the old European way of thinking.
Money is not all.

I invite you to read the following article.

A Familiar American Name Lobbies on European Steel

"On Thursday, he (John Ashcroft)characterized the fight for Arcelor, which would create the world's largest steel manufacturer, as an issue that is important to everyone."
Who is he?
I don't give a damn about John Ashcroft! The racist anointed redneck from Alabama.

So, you know, this american mentality of fake equality and all the bullshit that goes with it, we are fed up with that.
I am sick of these people coming to my country telling me how backward we are compared to the americans on a race basis. I am sick to see your country giving Europe lessons of how to deal with "Global" business and "Global" immigration and "global global". And at the same time seeing you put troops at the border, raiding on immigrants and millions of them in the street burning your flag.
Now, if we come to your country, and I hope we will not, it is because you started this all GLOBAL snobbish behaviour. We had just to defend ourselves.
And now, you are even helping your new roguish and hellish friends the indians to conquer the world; not by their quality, but by their number.

So why don't you start cleaning your own backyard and stay in your beautiful country.
I have lived in your country on an exchanged basis and I must say that, at the time, I had been very welcomed by your people. It was nice and sweet. However, I never planned to stay in your country because the american way of life is NOT my way of life.
I left with good memories. Period!

You see Oscar, I am tired of this bullshit.
I am tired to see the ignoble behaviour of your president who wanted to send french troops to war against a man he had put in position and who just wanted to get even opening an oil market in Euro.
That is really low!
Killing french for petro-dollars!?!
There are many french that died and are still dying in silence from the use of radioactive shells during the first gulf war.
We went!
We went to somalia, we went to Afghanistan, and we are still siding up with you against that korean nut.
But not that one!; no, not that one!
There are limits!

How do you want the world to respect you?
It will only see the bad side of your past and present deportments.
Politics is dirty and it has always been like that.
Let's not move too much filth!
Let me look at americans like a good hearted and noble people as most of them are and not at these hyenas that govern you.
It is the same on this side of the atlantic. No better, no worse.
And most of all, let's side up to defend our ideals. The northern soul that characterised us all. Goodness and hearth first!

Yeah!
That PPT (Plunge Protection Team) is a shame.
You can see them intervene before the bad news from Big Ben hit the wires.
They buy like there will be no tomorrow.
Today was the same with the korean missiles news.
They had a hard time though!

Uncle Benny thinks he can beat the market.
This is going to be very inflationnary.
Take some bucks out; put a lot of bucks in!
Are there enough presses out there?
