The son of Senator Joe Biden (who is quite charming, a great story-teller and has the perfect hair for a white house)*, R. Hunter Biden, a Washington lobbyist, is being sued by Anthony Lolito Jr. Lolito claims Biden (and his partner-uncle James) kept him out of the purchase of a hedge fund investment firm in 2006. The firm is Paradigm Cos., based in New York. Lolito maintains that the Bidens lied to him about an offer so that they could negotiate a better deal alone.
Earlier this month, the junior Biden resigned from “daily oversight” of Paradigm Global Advisors LLC, a division of Paradigm Cos. that manages hedge fund investments; he remains a lobbyist for the firm.
*Update(And yes, “JB + BL” is written inside a pink heart on the front of my Trapper Keeper. We all have our demons). Just read the Observer piece. So, that's interesting. I have decided, after not so careful consideration, to withdraw my endorsement of Sen. Biden in favor of the wildly succeful and not at all nebbishy (though oft erroneously pegged as such) NJ Gov. Jon S. Corzine. Thank you and good night.

Well Bess, seems like Drudge just blew up JB's campaign. Gotta love that he calls Obama a "clean" black...
"I mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy"
Nice one Joe

You guys are so racist.

"Clean"? Really?? Obviously you've never read his books. Obama is one seriously messed-up dude, with major racial, emotional, and political issues. Not to mention, he went to school at a radical Muslim academy as a boy. The guy would make an awful, even dangerous, Pres.

underwriter, more importantly, he lacks the proper skin tone.

On the contrary, his skin tone is perfect for the "New America" that the power elites, multiculturalists, and globalists have been working hard to create (via immigration, multiculturalism, diversity programs) since the 1960s. Which is why the power elites et al. have been fawning over him. Hell, certain sectors of the elite class (e.g., the media) act as if his ascendancy to the White House is a foregone conclusion.

Agreed, and how fucking funny is that? He barely playing for VP, and they are dressing him up as the black Kennedy.

San Fran Examiner has a major piece on Obama. Apparently his first book is, er, not exactly "presidential" material. Lots of discussions of hating whitey, distrusting a boss solely because of his skin tone, breaking up with a woman solely because she was white, his need to be "authentically" black.
His book does highlight the trauma that culture can produce. Whether it's the class consciousness of poor whites in the US or the UK, "redneck" pride, or a determination to remain "authentically black", an attachment to cultural values that directly impede success spells long term disaster for the group in question. Lower class Brits and far too many blacks in the US deride academic effort and success. In the US it's "acting white" and that marks one out as an "uncle tom".
Barack is but the best example of this, and the Presidency is no place for a racist, self-hating prick.
