what the heck are we looking at here?

  2. Posted by Hedge | April 11, 2007 at 3:54 PM

Hey look, its Tim “I run $1.5mm because my returns are worse than the New York Knicks” Sykes. I guess pretending you’re a real trader/PM takes up lots of time. It’s like he’s completely giving up. I can’t blame hime though.

that one girl looks like a call girl – did you hire her for $.40 on the dollar after that brothel in the art gallery shut down a month or so ago

  4. Posted by BSD | April 11, 2007 at 4:04 PM

Nice IKEA furniture, Tim. Also love the prominent price tag on Graham’s book – $7.60. You totally arbed that one!
Still, at least the chick in the red skirt and the chick in the green jacket look pretty decent.

Yeah, who are all these people and why should we care?

  6. Posted by Anonymous | April 11, 2007 at 4:06 PM

You should read this great site, called dealbreaker. it said yesterday who these girls are– tim sykes had a casting call for models who will appear with him on the cnbc for the million dollar portfolio challenge.

  7. Posted by Anonymous | April 11, 2007 at 4:07 PM

    polaroid for later use– NICE.

  8. Posted by Zbignew | April 11, 2007 at 4:32 PM

You guys managed to reference the infamous Tim Sykes and tie him in to both models AND bottles in one day.

Well done. Between that and badgering away at the TT/$H thing, you just need to insult Warren Buffett for the Hat Trick and call it a night.

  9. Posted by Anonymous | April 11, 2007 at 4:35 PM

zbignew: it’s not like you don’t have your favorite punching bags– immigrants, poor people, democrats, etc. and besides, how can you not love that pic w/ the polaroid. you can almost feel the grainy porn shoot that’s about to take place.

Hey Timmay, Since your fame you’ve posted 1 up month since June 2006.
This guy couldnt trade himself out of a paper bag.

Anon 4:35, you have me mixed up with BadgerWatch or InIT4the$ or one of those guys. They’re the ones who are usually flogging the downtrodden around here.
My schtick is mostly cheap innuendo, so I’m totally on-board with you on the polaroid thing.

  12. Posted by Bob Fleming, a.k.a. Badger Watch | April 11, 2007 at 5:22 PM

Agreed, the comparison was not apt.

  13. Posted by analyst | April 11, 2007 at 5:25 PM

Weird, I didn’t notice before, but that chick holding the Graham book is really sexy. Damn. There’s something about her. She gets my vote!

  14. Posted by Anonymous | April 11, 2007 at 5:26 PM

    Why is everyone bashing Sykes?

  15. Posted by anon | April 11, 2007 at 5:29 PM

No, that chick holding the graham book looks like the one that brought down the guy at Pepsi.

  16. Posted by EZmoney | April 11, 2007 at 5:35 PM

Ya know, the big wins in trading may have peaked, but wtf cares… It’s all paying off and its glorious. Casting Calls, Beautiful Charts, and CNBC. Are you not entertained? Are you not entertained? Is this not why you are here?

  17. Posted by BSD | April 11, 2007 at 5:43 PM

    Anon5:26,
Just watch an episode of Wall Street Warriors or whatever that horrid show on INHD was called and you can jump on the bandwagon. If he wasn’t actually successful at first I’d say he’s tied with Vayner for Street infamy.
    analyst,
My guess is IB? Go get out into some decent clubs buddy, your valuation is all messed up from working on them pitchbooks for 100 hours straight.

  18. Posted by Bulging Bracket | April 11, 2007 at 6:11 PM

Very, VERY short the girl holding the Graham book. Red dress and green jacket look promising but are under review pending more and better pictures.
Black dress isn’t thin enough to make up for her mammary deficiency.

  19. Posted by Anonymous | April 12, 2007 at 7:40 AM

green jacket maybe. red dress NO. book holder NOOOOOOOOOOOOO

  20. Posted by Anonymous | April 12, 2007 at 9:33 AM

If you have the $ that this guy has, is that really the best talent you can bring in? Really?

  21. Posted by anonymous 5:26 | April 12, 2007 at 3:50 PM

I just checked out Sykes’s website. D-O-U-C-H-E-B-A-G! Move over, I’m jumping on the bandwagon.

  22. Posted by Zbignew | April 12, 2007 at 4:00 PM

I’ve stayed out of drinking the Sykes H8RAid because, you know, I’m not really a joiner, but doesn’t his “recommended reading list” encompass every single trading and business book for sale on Amazon?
Fuck, give the guy credit for whoring himself out all the way.
