Q- Why is it so hard to get a descent bl*wjob in Manhattan during the summer?
A- Because all the c*cksuckers go to the Hamptons.

Wow, how can you justify paying for a social life? If you don't have it, you obviously didn't go to the right schools, come from the right family...etc.
Not that I'm saying everyone does, or that there's something special about that particular life. Just that, you should be who you are and who you were raised to be. If you didn't go to prep school in new england, stop trying to buy the lifestyle. If you didn't grow up in a ghetto, stop trying to act like it...etc. Bottom line, don't front. If you aren't born into it, you're not it and paying for it just because you happen to get a job on Wall Street doesn't count either.

"Man," did you go to a New England prep school by any chance?
Posted by Anon, May 23, 2007 5:29PM
What happens if you grew up in ghetto, but have a trust fund and went to a prep school? And your family is old money? Then what, hmmm?

How utterly vulgar! I would never pay for a "social life". The main reason being, I look down on most people. In my opinion, the US is full of douchebags. Assholes are a dime a dozen here. The culture seems to encourage people to act like dumbasses, which isn't really that hard when you come right down to it. Most people simply aren't worth knowing. And anyway, if you possess a measure of charm, good looks, breeding, money, and intelligence, as I do, you don't need to spend money to meet people. People come to you. Pick your friends and clients carefully. When it comes to choosing people with whom to socialise, it's best to be discriminating.

Has anyone told that guy he is balding? He might want to spend some money trying to reverse that before he blows his bonus trying to buy a social life.

Yo, Andrew. Davey Hansen and his pals in the Jickets Club just called. They want their hairstyle back.

Makes me long/loathe my first week of East Coast schooling when I asked about the elevation of the Hamptons for backpacking potential. I seriously thought it was a mountain range. Didn't get asked to rush there.

Anon 2:13 that is actually one of the funnier things anyone has posted on this site

Hmm, Andrew Rinaldi from UBS at 299 Park hasn't been logged onto his Bloomberg for two days now...must be taking an extra long weekend in the Hamptons. Wonder if he's hanging with the other recently infamous posing Andrew on a bit of a career sabatical.
