All these years of staring at bubble vision and I never realized Liz was so stacked, damn!

2

Posted by BSD , Jul 19, 2007 6:09PM

jt,

I was thinking the same thing! I'd love to powerboat that.

Let's not jump the gun just yet. Last I heard, Liz hadn't signed with Fox or anyone else yet. I'm still hoping she'll squeeze in a Playboy pictorial before she signs on the dotted line with Lucifer, er, I mean Mr. Murdoch.

Motorboat...motorboat...

for real I can't stop staring at that pic (perhaps a function of really having nothing else to do, but I digress)

That bod, that sexy face that just screams (pun intended) "I'm a bad little girl", oh Carney you bastard for putting that up!

Liz has amazing boobs!

Posted by Dave , Jul 19, 2007 7:24PM

Is this confirmed news or just speculation? If true, Great get by Fox!

Next I would try to poach from CNBC would be Margaret Brennan. She's not doing much on air wise at CNBC.

I read that Liz is an avid runner. Do you think she would care to go on a run with me?

CNBC closes it's doors in 3 .. 2 ..

unless of course erin and becky get some silicon :)

I loved Liz Claman because unlike a lot of you MBA (Mighty Big Assholes)...she knew where Cleveland, Ohio was. Naw.......this is not an obit however, men and women alike choke-up and want to run and hide at a time of parting. Truth to you airheads.......whatever she does, wherever she goes......watch and learn something from a class lady. Good luck and love to you, Liz and remember to wear those pastels.

From ICN

UPDATE: A Fox Business Network spokesperson tells ICN “We do not have a deal with Liz Claman at this time”. Maybe the deal is not officially completed yet? Insiders believe that she is expected to sign.

From TVNewser

Liz Claman: 90-Day non compete
More reaction to the news that Liz Claman has left CNBC. From an emailer close to the situation: "Liz was in talks with CNBC... her deal was up in June and she worked until two days ago... she decided there are other places to go, people to see, things to do. She could have stayed at CNBC. It was HER call to leave."

The email continues: "Will she go to Fox? Will she go to Discovery? None of that is clear right now as she has to sit out a 90 day non compete period."

90 days from July 17, would be October 15, the day Fox Business Network launches...

12

Posted by C , Jul 19, 2007 10:32PM

Murdoch should hire Erin and put her on Page 3

13

Posted by beanspatns1 , Jul 19, 2007 10:37PM

who wants to bet FOX started at the top, and went down until they got a bite:

It probably went like:

Erin, Maria, Becky, Margret, Liz, Sue, Cramer.

14

Posted by mordecai , Jul 20, 2007 3:15AM

The Discovery comment in the above e-mail. Why are we assuming that Liz will stay in business news? She could legitimately find work in any news medium. Maybe there's an opening at Naked News ...

15

Posted by ripa , Jul 20, 2007 6:13AM

90 days is long enough to travel to fiji, do a nice spread for playboy, and relax.

16

Posted by Correction , Jul 20, 2007 6:28AM

BSD it's motorboat, "you powerboatin' son of a bitch" doesn't carry the same harmony....

17

Posted by Squeezeplay , Jul 20, 2007 8:05AM

You freaks should know that no doubt Liz is everyone's first choice. Look at her: gorgeous and smart. and funny. Last I checked no one else has that combo. Besides, the bod? c'mon. No one competes with that. But just so I don't sound like a loser caveman, she was the best on CNBC to watch interview.

18

powerboat

Alexis Glick is also gorgeous and smart. I am looking forward to seeing her on air again on FBN.

20

Posted by Pgasman , Jul 24, 2007 12:45PM

Why couldn't they have just dumped that "B...h" Bartiromo and just kept the old crew together. The best thing when MB is on is that Bloomberg is only 2 stations away on either D tv or Sirius.

Liz.. I am going to miss you... and the twins.

Some days I forced myself to come to work so hungover I was seeing double, just to see if you were going to wear that blue sweater...

You and Ted David were the best pair EVER on CNBC. I only know this because if I somehow managed to notice the quality of your work while you were on the screen, it HAD to be good.

And somewhere, in the distance, someone played Taps..... and a dog barked. Grown men cried.

MOTORBOAT !

I hope Liz does move to fox, cnbc is screwed up, they used to have good anchors and reporters..they should fire exec and producers...Liz had the #1 ratings why would they not pay to keep her...FBN, I'll be watching for Liz

23

Posted by Forbes , Aug 01, 2007 12:48AM

Liz was like fine wine, just got better with age. But come on she was the one who had Buffett eating out of her ... *ahem* ... hand. That is going to get you far ... as far as you want. I must admit I regret all the early years that I passed her and her bangs over ... but that new do!

24

Posted by Teddy Johnson , Aug 06, 2007 2:48PM

My day is ruined. I just found out Liz has left CNBC. I used to turn on the tv at ten a.m. especially to watch that beautiful woman perform. Brightened up my whole day. Bon voyage, Liz, good luck on your new calling, I'll be watching for you.

25

Posted by pickle , Aug 07, 2007 4:37AM

Good for Liz. I always liked her. She did seem kind of bored and remote from some things over the last year or so. She's an attractive, bright, and engaging person. She'll do well. I'd rather not see her on Fox though, since their standards are so poor. Really, Neal Cavuto and that crowd are just such empty-headed sloganeers.

26

Posted by Babe2wallst , Aug 15, 2007 11:49AM

WOW, what a loss for CNBC (and us viewers)! Here was a classy woman with ability, inteligence and personality. SHE"S A PERFECT ROLE MODEL FOR YOUNG WOMAN WHO WANT TO BE IN BUSINESS. Thanx for everything Liz while on CNBC! Can't wait to see your new adventure, I'll be looking for 'ya!

27

Posted by quantboy , Aug 15, 2007 9:20PM

Holy HELL what was CNBC thinking? They're too busy panicking about what Fox is gunna do. Here's a hint: THEY GOT LIZ. They're gunna crush ya!

28

Posted by John , Aug 16, 2007 10:27AM

Here's another sad "good bye" to La Liz...but hoping to see her on Fox. Liz was (and shall remain) THE best dressed and classiest lady in the biz. Keep up the "look"...hope to see you in a Hermes headscarf and dark glasses in a convertible soon ;)

29

Posted by charles , Aug 28, 2007 1:45AM

Liz can finally take her "game" to a better network, where she and her "assets" will be "tops" forever! The classiest Redhead, with those magnificant breasts, will "rise" again and make her new home number 1. Miss you Lizzy.

Liz had a pair that would beat 3 of a kind anyday!!

Folks,

Just piggybacking on one of the earlier comments.....the team of Liz Claman and Ted David was outstanding.

I had no idea that she was "amply gifted"
-- TV can cover up a lot of good things in life -- if nothing else works out, she can make it to the MILF genre of adult movies -- the red hair accentuates her naughty voice.

But, seriously...CNBC should have never demolished the Liz-Ted combo -- they were competent, intelligent, genuinely funny and were good teammates. Compare that to the old people combo of Sue Herera and Bill Griffith -- can anyone be more balnd than these two? They are so old that they complete each other's sentences...phew! I mean, Sue is "amply gifted" too but she lacks the spice that Liz has. Sue is the plain, boring, rich MILF that is available to olny the elites. But, Liz...aaahhh..that is another story...she is a fantasy that is attainable. She gives hope for some of us losers and despos (relatively speaking) :-)

32

Posted by Tony , Sep 09, 2007 12:40PM

Liz is simply HOT, period (and with a dash of attitude).

Becky and Erin are cute, and of course, "do-able", but man, they need to get some boobs. Flat chests just don't cut it. Sue Herera wins over those two...nice rack, Sue! (Sue's cool in my book.)

But Liz is numero uno. Imagine that in the sack with those fun bags!

I had the good fortune of working with Liz at the ABC affiliate in Columbus. She is a consummate professional, well educated, thoroughly experienced and a wonderful person both on and off camera. She was a joy to work with. Being the class act she is, Fox would do well to add her to its new business channel staff.

Liz is simply the best!

No one else has her class, smarts, personality, humor, and drop dead sex appeal.

I've watched CNBC before it was called CNBC, but when Liz starts on Murdock, I'm out of there.

Erin is just a robot. Maria needs to take a speech and english course. The rest are just that.

Liz is a SUPER STAR!

HER future is ahead of her.

35

Posted by John Merritt , Sep 21, 2007 11:34AM

You Neanderthals. Her talents far supercede anything that CNBC has to offer at this moment. Their loss (and mine too). I SOO looked forward to watching a real pro, with her "great personality" and assets. CNBC is left with a bunch of buffoons. (Even though Jane W, and Becky Q. are SOLID.)

36

Posted by Kyle , Sep 23, 2007 1:02PM

I hope Liz does go to FBN so we can see her on air again. Where is FBN anyways?

37

I go back so far I remember Mario Machado and the German girl on FNN.
Busness news was just business news until Liz.

Has everyone forgotten Liz speaks French? She put the language of love into business news. I thought Liz and Mark Haines were the best couple in broadcasting, although the same could be said for Liz and Sen. Strom Thurmond, and he's been dead several years.
Note to R.Murdoch: Give Liz anything she wants.Give her a piece of the network. She'll be collecting social security and still be No. 1 in her time slot.

CNBC defines the word "talking heads". I don't watch it much anymore especialy since LC is gone. I hope she goes to FOX. I'd rather watch an anit-liberal network anyway.

42

Posted by valuetogrowth , Oct 18, 2007 3:59PM

You all have to be kidding me...Liz Claman, while having great looks, is and will always be one of the dimmest, most clueless, and pretentious personalities. What she doesn't know she tries to make up for with drama and feigned understanding. If it weren't for her body and "the twins" she'd be nothing. First and foremost she's an entertainer. As for comprehending the business (or political or financial) world, she's as empty upstairs as anyone I've ever seen.

43

Posted by Dan , Oct 19, 2007 7:24PM

Wow... it is a miss by CNBC, but that is life.

44

Posted by Mike , Oct 21, 2007 9:17AM

valuetogrowth = one of the idiots at cnbc that let Liz get away.

45

Without the teleprompter she would have a bit of a problem. Then again she could've been reading the yellow pages. I was infatuated.

Where has Liz gone? I've looked everywhere, but she has not surfaced, on Fox or anywhere?? Help!!

Liz Claman - how can one woman look so great and be that intelligent too. Even just listening to her makes you want to get in bed with her. Then on those sweater days she drives me crazy
