Putting DealBreaker On The Map

mapofeconoblogosphere.jpg Apparently we’re “snickerers.”

We like to think we’re more belly-laughers. But we like this description of why DealBreaker is important: “Because every classroom needs a kid in the back row, throwing spitballs.”

Sorry. We’re getting ahead of ourselves. Let’s back up. Market Mover Felix Salmon has posted “An Interactive Guide to the Econoblogosphere.” It maps out the econblog space into a number of categories and isn’t afraid to pick favorites. We’re not only Salmon’s favorite back of the class clown blog. We’re also the only one.

After you check it out the guide, stop back here and let us know if you can figure out exactly who is doing what in the icon Portfolio assigned to us.

Nice icon. If you zoom in (right click option) it is pretty clear that those ain't spitballs.

it's pretty clear you're fucking the hot girl/hot teacher on the teacher's desk. a blog after my own heart

i take offense at the professionals category. the description implies that all the other bloggers aren't journalists. that discredits my opinion that dealbreaker is an example of fine journalism. i dont like to be discredited

Portfolio? Don't you guys hate them?

Whoa. You're the "luckiest" blog on the list.

ummm...that icon is pretty hilarious - I think its kind of a stretch to make a connection between DB's penchant for snarky commentary and giving it to (the teacher?) on your desk, but I guess non sequitors from Portfolio are par for the course.

Am I missing something here? I don't see an icon that looks anything like that.

You missed it, laura. Looks like someone didn't like the icon. Now dealbreaker has the same icon as "the pros."
