We’ve just heard, as we sometimes do, that Greenwich Capital laid off a bunch of senior guys last night, and will be moving on to the peons this morning. 2.5 months from bonus time—ballsy! As always, we would appreciate if anyone who can definitively confirm or deny the allegations would do so now.

Heard the same. Of the remaining execs, no one is talking bonuses anymore at Greenwich. Numbers are unclear, I head it was 1/3 of the company.

First of all, rbsgc barely let anyone go. second, their new building is the new royal bank of scotland group headquarters for north america – so not only will the 1200 greenwich capital employees be moving there, but so will all of rbs north america, amn ambro north america, citizens bank and whoever else they decide to buy before then. check your facts before you post…
