Sykes hedge fund book = Overhyped and embarassingly bad!

I finished reading Sykes shitty book a couple of days ago and I wish I would have never bought it. It is the same old tired of story of a stock trader who makes money when the market is going up and then can't make money when his luck runs out.

I never thought of hedge funds containing penny stocks and microcaps before. This is really the story of Tim Sykes, arrogant failed trader who can't make money any more and is now trying to become a personality because his trading stinks.

Tim's book is pretty good, but it's definitely not a trading book, it's just funny

Though announcing this admits that at some point today I had my TV tuned to Fox News, I just wanted everybody to know that Bill O'Reilly actually "interviewed" Alf today. People more industrious than I can surely find a clip somewhere.

Bess - the extent of your power and influence is, frankly, frightening.

I also like Tim Sykes as wacky entertainment, but he is getting a little more emotionally unstable, such as insulting any reader of his awful book who is unimpressed, and demanding that Amazon delete any bad book reviews...kind of weird...I think Tim is trying to milk his "TV fame" the best he can.

Cheesy book NOT worth $20; NOT a Classic!

Tim, We like you as a person...OK, but the truth must come out! Newbies might actually think you have something worthwhile to teach them.

I was psyched when I bought and started reading Sykes book, but was quite disappointed by the time I got done. Nothing really new or earth shattering in it. I got it for free so it wasnt so bad.....but wouldnt pay 20 bucks for it. Much better "reads" out there.

Tim, this is not personal. You must have some talent in something, but you are not a good trader or author!! (forget the 150 glowing professional courtesy reviews, thats how the promo game is played). It doesn't help that you "admit mistakes and describe the stupid details".

Maybe Tim can go to law school and get a real job!
