FBN Pricasso small.jpgIt’s times like these we really regret not being able to get it together to start TiVo’ing Fox Business. Last night they had on Tim Patch, an Australian artist who uses his penis as a brush, to discuss his craft. There’s no video to be found, which is so typical of the network in that it often chooses not to save segments that could be construed as embarrassing (last week’s interview with an M&M, Tim Sykes’s appearance last night on “Happy Hour”), an obvious blow to posterity. All that remains is this screen shot (click to enlarge) a watchful reader (Stan O’Neal) was good enough to grab and send our way. The best part (and there are many to choose from) is the ticker tape at the bottom. On that note, Patch (professional handle: “Pricasso”) is a businessman and businessmen can be bought—what I’m getting at is that we’ve commissioned a piece (art lover Ken Griffin agreed to float us the funds). The only question that remains is, who shall the subject be? Carney wants Bill Ackman, while I think a portrait of Meredith Whitney and her WWF husband would just be lovely. Your pick? Really think about it. This is important.

I saw the piece you are referring to and I thought it was great. Look at how much attention you've called to Fox Business News. That's what this Happy Hour stuff is about......getting viewers. Just seeing Rebecca Gomez sitting on a barstool is an unwinding time of day pleasure.

First off get your facts straight. If you watch the show on any regular basis, you know this was part of their fun part of the show I believe called QUICK SHOTS. They often do weird, wacky, water cooler, business, non-business stories in that part. ANYWAY, the painter was not on the show, he was the topic of one of those weird stories. They showed the above photo and some of the work of the "artist". You could tell by the interview it was one of those "well you won't believe this" type of stories. That was all it was. Breathe people and relax.

@reddays95- and yet, would you see this on cnbc? no. also, i don't think anyone's getting their panties in a bunch here, no need to tell us to calm down. re: facts not being straight, DB says in the first lines, they DIDN'T watch, all they have is this screen shot to try and piece together a semblance of what went on.

ps it's awesome that this was on something called "quick shots."

Ok, agreed...it was a rant. And yes funny in a segment called quick shots. Personally, I don't think we would see it on CNBC, but I think the fact that FBN did it...was kind of interesting. It took everything away from business and made it a segment to be remembered. It's like that horribly annoying commercial you see a bunch of times..you hate it and thought it was horrible, But you remembered it.
