I like the new lay-out. However, seeing the handles of the posters was part of the fun. I had grown to love 1-2, girl, Mr. Pink, KLW, Anal_yst and others. I don't think many will bother to login.

fuck me. i hit the road to see my recovering-from-cancer mom for valentine's day and this site gets cascading style sheets and a makeover. ass factor 9.5. at least "skin" the site so we can choose the "douche bag" layout that we had a few hours ago. i'm going to go get drunk in the guest igloo now. --Schmooze

I'm not totally resistant to change, on a positive note, this way keeps people from posting under your handle/name/whatever

I say we run with this ish for a month or so and see how it goes, gotta at least give it a chance

why would there need to be a recent comments tab front and center? there are 100 comments on this site a day, and they're all for the most recent articles. are people too retarded to find them themselves? do they really need a recent comments button front and center?

and archives are nice, but again, front and center? give me bess' bio front and center.

the poll is brilliant. that must have taken a long time to think of.

and blogroll taking up so much space? plus *another* tab for archives by the blogroll?

and you realize that just about a quarter of the entire page is white/empty space, right?

and most frustratingly...google ads embedded between articles. that's majorly selling out, even by dealbreaker standards
