Washington DC Goes Gaga For ABC's Money Honey

Bianca.jpgBianna Golodryga is apparently Washington DC’s favorite “money honey.” The former CNBC reporter moved over to ABC last year. But her appearance at the White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner is garnering her a lot of attention. “She’s smoking,” a Bush administration official tells Paul Bedard, who writes the Washington Whispers gossip column for US News & World Report.

“I was walking around with her, and all the big shots were coming up and introducing themselves. They were gaga over her,” a “financial industry source” tells Bedard.

What's with the dent in her forehead? Bedpost injury?

3

Posted by guest , May 09, 2008 1:21PM

no, thats from when i slapped her in the forehead with my dong

4

Posted by guest , May 09, 2008 1:27PM

I'd rather have Erin Burnett in that highschool photo.

5

Posted by Anal_yst , May 09, 2008 1:41PM

Damnit, the networks finally found out my secret (anastasia int'l, that is)

6

Posted by guest , May 09, 2008 1:47PM

Who watches ABC for financial news? Until she gets a new job, she's just a "honey".

7

Posted by guest , May 09, 2008 2:03PM

happy to report i actually tapped that about 18 months ago

8

Posted by onetwo , May 09, 2008 2:03PM

Not that hot.

9

Posted by guest , May 09, 2008 2:10PM

I prefer Julie from Wallstrip.

10

Posted by Investorcluzo , May 09, 2008 2:11PM

definitely not that hot, what's with that hair in close up? I wouldn't be advertising that I "tapped that" as if it were a good thing...

@1:21 - too funny!

11

Posted by guest , May 09, 2008 2:22PM

Hey, I'm an infrequent visitor here, I noticed mentions that Mr Pink got canned, what happened? Mr Pink U OK?

12

Posted by Anal_yst , May 09, 2008 2:24PM

I realize this is completely unrelated, but I can't help but wonder, WTF???

2:13 (Dow Jones) A group of 16 civic organizations have sent a letter to the
US Justice Department arguing a search advertising outsourcing arrangement
between Google (GOOG) and Yahoo (YHOO) could undermine privacy, consumer choice
and might irreversibly damage online competition. The group includes the
American Corn Growers Association, League of Rural Voters and the National
Black Chamber of Commerce. Google has said any such pact would be structured in a manner that addresses regulatory concerns

13

Posted by guest , May 09, 2008 2:28PM

@2:11 so your saying you wouldn't tap it? Seems like your a little picky, all bad hair choices aside.

14

Posted by guest , May 09, 2008 2:43PM

Can someone please tell me where this idiot gets off talking about the economy, and optimal unemployment rates?(RE: You tube)

Since when does an undergrad degree in russian studies qualify someone for this type of job? What a joke!! The funnier thing is that Bianna probably wakes up everyday without realizing she is fooling nobody. What a massive douche.

15

Posted by guest , May 09, 2008 2:46PM

@2:43 Unfortunately you don't need an MBA to read a teleprompter.

16

Posted by guest , May 09, 2008 2:50PM

2.43 - sorry, but since when do qualifications have anything to do with a job like this? the only thing that all the networks want is a pretty face on air that we will stare at and dream about f@#king.

go to PBS or somewhere else if you want the serious stuff - i bet you are a woman, jealous about the fact this dumb woman gets the easy gig you could only dream about.

17

Posted by BSD , May 09, 2008 2:53PM

@2:43 - her taking Russian studies is like all the Mexican kids who took Spanish in high school ...and still raised the curve.

18

Posted by guest , May 09, 2008 3:01PM

she's way too pale and not that hot.

19

Posted by diablo , May 09, 2008 3:06PM

Yeah, honey, but what does she know about money? Erin knows money, and loves it too.

20

Posted by guest , May 09, 2008 3:14PM

I bet she knows how to suck a golfball through a garden hose and beyond that, who cares?

21

Posted by guest , May 09, 2008 3:16PM

I miss Liz Claman, her fiery red hair and large rack. Huzzah!

Do we know for a fact that Ms. Golodnyga only has an undergraduate degree in Russian studies? How about some practical experience with the field? I agree that the broadcasters don't usually require an MBA to read a teleprompter, but they do usually want some familiarity with the field being covered, or trust a new hire to be intelligent enough to learn the field. Don't prejudge a woman just because she's pretty; give her a chance.

Being attractive is an obvious plus for anyone interested in TV journalism, man or woman. Why does Anderson Cooper have his own prime-time show at a comparatively young age? Is it his intelligence and ability, or his prematurely white hair, blue eyes and short-sleeved black t-shirts?

However, some of CNN's senior political journalists are women who are not conventionally pretty, but do hold the viewer's interest when they broadcast. These women appear to be actual reporters who understand politics and write their own material.

@ 2:50

Can you explain how the CNBC men got/keep their jobs then?

25

Posted by guest , May 09, 2008 3:28PM

@anal_yst--do you really care? Or expect a TV reporter to understand shit? But, to answer your Q, my A would be through hot, wet, steamy sex....

26

Posted by Anal_yst , May 09, 2008 3:33PM

Wow, i can't imagine mark haines being involved in anything that meets that description that doesn't involve a steam room and me throwing up my lunch. Seems to me the old-guard @ cnbc male-camp is kind of grandfathered in (see Ratigan, Dylan...Kiernan, Joseph, etc)

27

Posted by guest , May 09, 2008 4:10PM

I might take a dump on her chest but that would be about it

28

Posted by GinNTonic , May 09, 2008 4:18PM

Huge DSLs

29

Posted by guest , May 09, 2008 4:54PM

Anal_yst, enjoyed your joke @3:33pm about Mark Haines.

On Squawkbox, who is the tall, self-effacing, slouchy guy with the light brown hair that he sometimes mousses up? I think he is some kind of anchor. I have no particular objection to him, but he doesn't strike me as a natural for TV.

30

Posted by guest , May 09, 2008 5:22PM

This validates what I've known for a long time......Washingtonians are not too bright. Blind, too. This girl could never hold a candle to Maria Bartiromo....and by the way I believe Maria would just like not to hear the Money Honey thing beaten to you know what. Yes, she copywrited it and it was hung on her by the people around whom she worked. The Honey wouldn't have been part of it if she was not a beautiful and too friendly a person. She can be taken advantage of....so her travel companion sometimes has to point her away from trouble.

31

Posted by Anal_yst , May 09, 2008 5:23PM

4:54 not sure who you're talking about, but I'm curious if anyone knows how much the male anchors get paid on CNBC. Seems relatively simple (and far easier/less hours than IB for sure), could be pretty fun, girls are much hotter than most WS groups, and you're quasi/not-really famous, hell if they pay at least 300k/year I'd consider signing up

32

Posted by guest , May 09, 2008 6:10PM

I agree about taking a dump on her chest, but I'd do that right after I banged Liz C's big countries. Then I'd take this Russian chick and give her a good dick whipping. Although that dent in her head has a bit of a mushroom shape to it, so I fear someone may have already beaten (no pun intended) me to the punch.

But every commenter of this site (read: loser who'd bang a pile of rocks if he thought there was a snake in it) would hit it if he had a shot, so please stop with the denials.

33

Posted by guest , May 09, 2008 6:14PM

I met her at an event just before she left CNBC. Clearly, she's upgraded her social schedule since then. But, I can attest, she's hot, unlike Maria Businessclassaromo. Anyone that believes otherwise is a hater. And for the record, way better at working a room than C Gasparino, who stood in the corner with a buddy and ogled 40 year old ladies all night.

34

Posted by guest , May 09, 2008 7:50PM

Erin Burnett is still the hottest.Bianna was introduce to us but nothing special ,she's just an ordinary beauty.Erin Burnett has that X factor.I'm not paid to say this but, honestly, CNBC female anchors are classy and knows what they are talking.

35

Posted by guest , May 09, 2008 8:12PM

I don't get the fascination with Erin Burnett. She's pretty, but nothing special.

36

Posted by guest , May 09, 2008 9:05PM

Anyone who thinks she isn't hot clearly didn't click through to US News. Sorry she doesn't look better than your overworked right hands! You all obviously have SUCH options.

37

Posted by guest , May 09, 2008 10:14PM

LOL. Right on with Gasparino standing in the corner. Got about as much social skill as a roach. Ooops, he is a roach. And, talk about fucking stupid. He sets the record for dee's and doo's in one sentence. Does he ever make a correct call on anything? Ooops, that's right, he "tinks" he breaka news. He breaka wind! I think that he actually thinks he's good at this. GODFATHER OF THE MUTE BUTTON!

CGas is as bad as mad man Cramer.
btw, is Cramer dating a Brazilian?

39

Posted by guest , May 10, 2008 11:52AM

CGAS - like that nickname. Actually, Cramer at least has some form of intellect. CGAS is a fucking moron who has no financial expertise whatsoever. A complete dope. The good news is that CNBC will wake up soon and boot his ass.

40

Posted by guest , May 11, 2008 9:27AM

Guest at 6:14 PM. Businessclassaromo.....I can't understand who you are talking about. Can you? Gulibility is inborn in Maria...she is too trusting...and the result winds up buying someones' bullshit. Anyway...explain what you mean maybe then I can follow.

41

Posted by guest , May 11, 2008 1:06PM

Hey Guys, JJ here (Judge Judy for those who are new or unfamiliar). God, I love those CGAS comments. I refer to him as Gasbagarino. The dumbest, most inarticulate person on television. He's the business version of Barney Fife. Happy to post up my comments from elsewhere if you would like a little entertainment.

Hey Judy Judy, thank you. I love your posts. You are one funny lady - and you also happen to be very accurate in your comments. So, what are you keeping under that robe????

43

Posted by guest , May 11, 2008 4:40PM

@5/11 9:27am. I think @6:14pm is comparing Bianna Golodryga, whom he met at a party before she left CNBC, to Maria Bartiromo.

44

Posted by guest , May 12, 2008 12:16AM

Looks like CFart oh I mean CGas is seldom seen in CNBC.maybe nothing to report about financial institution cutting employees.

45

Posted by guest , May 12, 2008 4:44PM

From 6:14- i was comparing Bianna to Maria. Bit of an obscure swingers reference i suppose- business class means ass too big to fit in an economy class seat, you know, like Maria's

46

@ 2:10pm

Julie from WallStrip is rather hostile. I had no idea who she was until she approached me outside Hanover Cafe one afternoon with a camera and microphone. She asked me what I thought of the google/yahoo deal before I got back to my "desk job" (as she put it).
