I'm no fan of Waters, my inclination would be in crease gasoline taxes to remove our dependence on foreign oil. Though i do think the lack of new US refineries is a boondoggle. I certainly don't agree with nationalizing anything.... well medicine, but that's because i think people have a right to health care but not to cheap gasoline.
Now, is anyone working on the AB InBev defense? Why don't you guys just do a hostile counter offer for InBev, their market cap is only like $7 billion more than BUD's. Warren, friend of the Busch family, would happily make nice with the financing to put together another Wrigley-Mars style transaction in the beverage space. Just a thought.

@3:35pm. Thanks for posting the link to the Ron Paul article. It's amazing how vacant some people's heads are. However, I can definitely see the attraction for someone who is anti-establishment but not adequately informed.
Do I think we've over-extended ourselves with military deployments around the world? Yes. Do I think the war on drugs is ineffective and may negatively distort the internal politics of foreign nations? Yes. Do I support legalization of marijuana for medical purposes? Yes.
But: Do I support forbidding gun control? No. Do I think states should have control of access to abortion? No. Do I support abolition of the IRS? No. Do I support abolition of the Federal Reserve? No. Do I think we should return to a currency based on the value of gold and silver? No. Do I think Ron Paul is the embodiment of the ideals of the American Revolution? Hell, no.
Ron Paul's "solutions" for problems that I am concerned about are ridiculously simplistic. If we legalize heroin and cocaine, how are we going to control an inevitable spread of addiction that we can't effectively address now? Any reduction in the armed forces is going to cause economic pain at home, and is also going to change relations with countless foreign nations. To address this would be a Herculean task for someone who actually understands both the military and foreign policy, which would be someone other than Ron Paul.
His economic theories are straight out of the Crackpot School, and would be disastrous.
Then there is the matter of the unsavories whose support he has accepted. Neo-nazis, the Klan, and others like them.
I just wanted to post because I am sometimes surprised when people I know and like say they're thinking of supporting Ron Paul, and cite one of his more appealing positions, but isn't aware of the full scope of his thinking or his past associations. If it's a growing movement, then it's an alarming matter.
