$$$ Ball’s in your court, Jimmy Cayne: “The co-founder of Broadcom Corp. has been accused of secretly spiking the drinks of his customers’ representatives with Ecstasy, and hiring prostitutes for them and other associates, according to a federal grand jury indictment.” [MarketWatch]

That Broadcom story from MarketWatch is unbelievable. The ex-CFO is also involved, and the drug use (cocaine, marijuana, Ecstasy, and methamphetamines) was something out of a Hunter S. Thompson memoir. Since it’s based on a pending federal indictment, it’s got to have some arguable basis in fact.
Bess did you see Lewis Black making an ass of himself on KKR?

I remember hearing stories about drug-induced parties the guy would have @ his mansion, something about underground hallways and Poe-type craziness too!
“Marijuana smoke and fumes crept into the plane’s cockpit, prompting the pilot to put on an oxygen mask, the indictment said.”
Was he on the Soul Plane with Snoop?

When are we going to get some speculation about analyst bonuses? Surely Dealbreaker has some inside connections with HR at the IBs.
Anal_yst: Underground hallways and Poe-type craziness, too? What? Purloined letters? Red masques? Beating hearts entombed beyond a wall?
guest@7:35pm. DB did a spreadsheet on analyst bonuses just a week or so ago.

Brilliant.
I remember that dude in either Fortune or Forbes with no shirt on working out on some stupid machine, and he was so jacked up, I figured he had to be sucking down Dbold or some crap…if I’d known the truth, I’d have spammed their HR for a job nonstop
yeah; i also know the guy once played cowboy chasing hot cowgilrs at http://riderlove.com don’t know whether he really meant it…
One time I wore a three piece suit to work, high as balls on acid, so I can relate with this guy.
The AP reported that this guy first got into legal trouble when he didn’t pay workers who built him secret rooms in a warehouse, which he wanted in order to keep his activities “secret from his wife.”
As if his wife didn’t have a clue as to what was going on …
Jimmy Cayne tokes it up and gets bailed out by the feds. Henry Nicholas tokes it up and gets indicted by the feds. Talk about a double standard. But what we really want to know is, how many diamonds were the hookers he was hiring out for clients?
