Update: another self-described "top" first year in S&T claims it's more like 75K. I don't know what to believe. If only someone signing checks from the inside could comment definitively below.

I am a first-year IB analyst who just got his bonus. I just left to go back to my apartment (I live in FiDi) to work-out but I always get distracted by this site though it pisses me off that I can't comment while at work especially since they track our useage. $75k is the new second-year base. This is probably above-market, as I think it used to be $70. My bonus was in the high $10k's and I don't think of myself as a high-performer, though maybe I'm modest!

Are you at Goldman? Do you mean you got a bonus in the range of $70k to 90k? At first, I thought you meant a bonus in the $15k - $19k range and I thought that couldn't be right. I've never heard anyone refer to money under $100k as being a multiple of $10k. Maybe it's me.
