Confidential To JPMorgan Monkeys: Go Home!

The most important thing Bearpont Morgan CEO Jamie Dimon said on record to Charlie Rose? "I hate it when I hear about kids working through the night." Take this tacit approval of you moseying on out of the office at 5 and run with it.

He didn't have an issue with them working through the night, it is expected/required. He doesn't want to hear about it, just like I hate it when my kids started yammering about how much homework they have.

@2:22

While the work is extremely tedious and, in the grand scheme of things, well, as ungrand as it gets, it is a necessary evil to make sure the data is right, the model is right, the assumptions are at least remotely tested, blah blah blah. Hence, having the relationships to consumate a deal may drive flow, but if you don't have the foundation, you've got no deal (or just a bad deal)
