Dennis Kneale To Jail?

denniskneale.jpgMany of you were outraged at the comment made by Bearpont Morgan CEO Jamie Dimon to Charlie Rose that the SEC should investigate the "smoke" surrounding the fall of Bear Stearns, because the mixture of gases and suspended carbon particles supposedly suggests that not only was Jimmy Cayne getting high at the office, but that there may have been a "deliberate and malicious destruction of value" caused by the creation and spreading of a rumor about BSC being in trouble. And, if there's conclusive evidence of guilt, that those parties should go to prison, and not pansy-ass white collar resort prison for a two month stay but federal pound-me-in-the-ass prison for a very long time. We're pretty sure Dimon was referring to the so-called evil shorts who a lot of people would like to believe were behind Bear's demise and not CNBC, but nonetheless would be remiss not to bring this call to put network contributor Dennis Kneale behind bars to your attention. Oh, and here's a vintage clip of the perp fighting with Charlie Gasparino over whether or not he uses hookers. Just 'cause we love you.

Why DB would anyone want to see a reporter behind bars. Are you not a supporter of our first amendment? With out reporters the majority of Americans would remain uninformed and stupid.. which reminds me that many of your readers and contributors are diploma carrying graduates of the "School of Airheads."

So the majority of Americans are actually informed and intelligent? Gee, when did that happen!

They should send leverage to prison

If you run your company in a way that "evil rumours" can take it down...you are doing a poor job

bear got what it deserved x30

Don't laugh too loudly just yet. What everyone seems to be forgeting is that something is about to happen in this country. I'm not sure exactly what or precicely when, but something will soon, and it won't be pretty for those who 'earn' their living on Wall St.

Every damn Senator and Rep in Wash DC is being deluged daily with constituents' complaints about oil, food, 401(k) losses, housing, jobs, credit crisis, etc. And Guess What? The 'Thieving, Lying, Greedy Bastards' from Wall St are being blamed for everything. Whether you choose to laugh or not is up to you, but you will not be able to stop this from happening. Any cries for "sanity" from those on Wall St will be soundly ignored.

Lastly, I'll add that Dimon, Fuld and Sorkin are the smart ones. They are trying do align themselves with the oncoming crushing wave in hopes that they can mitigate their own culpability. One year from now Wall St will be a different place. Many of today's/yesterday's "playuhs" and "Ballers" will no longer be around.

Too many forces are at work against the status quo on Wall St.

I say send Dennis to jail. He is insufferable and that is in comparison to the rest of the lot at CNBC.

-We've found a witch! A witch! We've got a witch! A witch! A witch! Burn her! Burn her! Burn her! We've found a witch! We've found a witch! A witch! A witch! A witch!

- So, logically... If she weighs the same as a duck she's made of wood. And therefore? A witch!

@1:11

Your Wall Street "doomsday" predictions are largely overblown. I'm not convinced government will over-regulate the markets, all we've heard so far are plans to insure that the over all economy doesnt drag to the point of oblivion because of the financial sector and it shouldn't. The regulation will come and it will be more than whats been there before but its not going to be some crazy witch hunt your expecting.

Mr. Dimon's cries to look up rumor mongers is nice but its not like he can prove it. Or the SEC for that matter.

@nsd - but how do you know she's a witch?

"She looks like a witch!! Burn her!!"

Well they dressed me like this!!

"Well we did the nose.....aaaaaand the hat. But she's a witch, burn her!!!"

@1:20,

Thanks for your reply. I don't think that "proof" is required to have "over-regulation". Expediency is more valuable to a Congressperson who wants to satisfy constituents in an election year.

As I said, I don't know exactly what or precicely when, but something big is going to happen.

1:11 - "Many of today's/yesterday's "playuhs" and "Ballers" will no longer be around"

Sure. There will be a new set of 'playuhs' and 'ballers' - the set of securitized products 'ballers' will be replaced by carbon-credit soemthing ballers?

Communists like you live in denial of two things 1) financiers exists because they are needed 2) some people are simply better in the pursuit of money than others (just like in every other thing).

That is how the world has been forever. They tried out the red revolution in your spiritual homeland Russia a long time ago with the same professed beliefs. Today that country is home to some of the biggest 'playuhs' in the world.

So drop that copy of the Das Kapital that you have been hugging and go out and smell the air. You can either be one of the people making money out there or one of those living off of others. Take your pick because there will always remain these two 'classes'.

The 'ballers' will be the former. And the retarded socialists will be the latter - living off of other people and yet cursing the same folks.

let's not forget how ironic it is for charlie gasparino to be claiming someone else uses prostitutes when he was recently caught giving head to male interns on the floor of the nyse. how's that for rumor spreading?

I would rather be forced to watch reruns of the Nanny over and over for the rest of my life than to be subjected to that horrible video clip again. They are worse than a bunch of whiney girls! What a bunch of sissies!

Yes, and I am a girl.

@233 - for a rumour to work it should have some semblance of truth. Replace D Kneale for Gasbag and you got yourself a winner there!

Talking about the cnbc team... what's up with Erin Burnett?, she always seem so freaking ready to make fool of herself, with this other old freak by her side. I couldn't take it anymore.... I watch Bloomberg now....Please don't respond to this posting saying that Burnett is cute or whatever like that, I am only curious to see if anyone agrees that she is a goofball and doesn't contribute sh...t...

I agree with you that Erin Burnett is a goofball. All she knows to contribute is on the teleprompter. She is some sort of fantasy figure for a lot of the guys. I think she is an airhead.

Kneale wasnt client 1, I have always gotten the impression he swings the other way. Anyone pick up the story on foxnews.com about gay strippers being propositioned for sex, that might be more up DK's alley.

Well, this pretty much proves to all that Carney is Gasbag's secret lover. So, who's the man and who's the woman? Hmmm, hard to say on this one.

I read on another post that CNBC is going to cut the Gasbagarumor loose next week. Apparently, there are exactly zero people at CNBC who like or respect him. Christmas in July. Hurray.

Finally, did you guys see Judge Judy's comment that while Gasbagarumor claims to break news, he really breaks nothing more than wind and couldn't break a window with a bulldozer. Never heard it said better.

Keep up the good work DK. We love you man.
