Bess as someone who actually works on wall st as opposed to blogging about it, I can tell you that many many finance profesionals are Libertarians. Rather then make fun of Ron Paul, who raised more cash online then Dealbreaker ever will, it would do you some good to learn about economics so u might be able to make actual arguments rather then just stupid quips. @5 it would do you some good to learn about grammar before you try to sound educated. "Than" is a conjunction typically used in comparisons, while "then" is an adverb. Can you name more than (notice proper usage)one prominent financier who is openly a Libertarian? I didn't think so.

20 Whenever I hear the Mary Jo thing I'm reminded of a similar problem that Laura Bush had. I think in both cases, its best to just conclude that terrible accidents occured, feel sorrow for those involved and move on. Not let it be emplematic in any way of the individuals involved or their respective parties.

34 My point is in both cases an unfortunate accident occured. That sort of thing is interesting only in a People Magazine sort of way and should therefore be put to rest and not be projected onto the political scene. Look carefully: in no place did I make any sort of judgement regarding either of them. You are however, based only on a selective viewing of one case of drunk driving. That's just plain dumb.

In both cases an unfortunate accident left someone dead. Despite what you're suggesting (that EK could have dived in and saved MJ, that LB could have given mouth to mouth), in neither case could those that caused the accident have changed the outcome. If you don't like either of their politics fine, but let it rest. What happened should not be an indightment of either individual.
