    i know a couple people laid off from other firms who got jobs a lehman… but looks like Barclays may pick them up. Its better than the Bear situation, Barclays has no US operations to speak of.

    Isn’t an MS Wachovia merger just a blatant attempt to create a bank that is too big to fail and must be bailed out. Wasn’t Wachovia getting hammered a few days ago.
