Saudi Arabia will bail us out at the request of The Holy Imam himself, the Obamamessiah, direct descendent of Muhammed. We will all convert to Wahabbi Islam and live in tents.
@41
Apparently many. In honor of him I propose the Holler (his last name) index.
Here formula I've come up with, feel free to edit:
[(over reaction score, from 1-5) + (jr. traders acting like lemmings score, 1-5) x (# of companies saying they will NOT go bankrupt) + (general douchiness of CEO's for the day 1-10) x (Ted Spread)]
@50 Wow, I hadn't visited that page in MONTHS, and it was still holding the old data. I hit "refresh" and now it says 1100. VERY weird that the NYSE site is set up that way. I close my browser and log out every day, and NO other site I've ever visited holds an old page view through that -- not even silly, unimportant sites.

Does anyone know whether they set them more frequently than quarterly? Since, well, 1100 points is about 14% now....

BTW, glad to see GS at 92. Anyone for 82? MS at 8 this morning, down from 12 yesterday.
LEH CDS at 9 cents per $dollar. Holders who paid 27 cents per $hundred should be overjoyed. What a f'n payday.
