Credit Where Credit Is Due

Ford Executive on CNBC just now:
“One of the great myths is that there is no credit available out there.”
What’s the other one? That F is headed to zero?

    Get Some #1
There is credit – just not for non-local businesses.

Even as people were being turned down for mortgages months ago they were still saying “there is credit out there”.

GMAC is giving you a loan if your FICO is greater than 700. So you can buy a car using GMAC financing if you are in the top 58% of the consumers. Or say it the other way, 42% can’t get a loan thru GMAC to buy a car. That hurts auto sales.
I don’t know what the other myth is. Global warming? Drill, drill, drill? Money grows in trees? I’m clueless.

Uh, I hate to agree with anyone related to Ford, but he or she is correct. Credit is still available for industrial companies, even if it is not for financials.
Just because you can’t get laid Saturday night doesn’t mean everyone else isn’t getting some.

Plenty ‘o credit out there for us farmers. Our Ag Econ guys don’t know how to create structured derivatives for farm loan bundles, so no screw ups there.

Ford has come up with a new option for on the F150, a heated tailgate.
That way when you’re pushing it in the winter, your hands stay warm.

Ford’s new Flex AWD crossover, which looks like a cross between an elongated Scion xB and a Mini Cooper, has an MSRP starting at $37K and fully loaded is close to $45K. Even in the best of times whoTF would pay $45K for a glorified station wagon and from Ford nonetheless?

Who knew F-150 was not a truck, it was a prediction – $1.50

I just bought a new Navigator to replace my wife’s X5. Love it, awesome SUV.
And $18K off the $58k sticker.
