It’s official. The BarcLehs bitches have shafted their main bitch. Tomorrow is Bella the Lehman Brothers’ guard/bomb sniffing dog’s last day. The brits are going with a different security company, which will presumably bring in a new, not as cute pooch, or pussy (cat).

Roo rong, ridn’t read.
gotta admit, 3 is pretty funny. but a new security firm? what about the actual human security guards? are they gonna be leaving too?
I work @ 1251 Avenue of the Americas in an office that faces the roof of the Lehman/Barclays Building. For almost five years I have watched Bella and her co-workers poop, piss and play on the roof at least three or four times a day. I also see the food service dudes sleeping behind the curtians after an early breakfast meeting. I also watched (as was pictured in the WSJ) the white shirts line up in the board rooms for long meetings as the USS Lehman went down.
I’ll miss you Bella. Good luck. Look at the bright side, the British banks have rubbish dental plans.
@4- um, duh? you didn’t get that by “new” firm?
I vote Agent Jack Bauer, Junkyard Cat.

@5, I call bullshit. Wasn’t that picture in the WSJ from the London office?
@ 9 – Worked at Lehman
so sad. I always got a kick out of the fact that borris and bella were listed with pictures in the online employee directory.
#9 – Worked at Lehman
who has bella
Bella Will leave for the last time tomorrow. She will go home with her handler. She has been with us for 7yrs. I can’t believe she is going. She would always put a smile on the face of everyone when she would come on the floor.
She will be missed very much.
And Kevin. ( Good Guy)
Nooooooooooo…
LayOffs Watch on Wall St = Job Opportunities in Wilmington.
UBS/WL, JPM, BAC, & Lawyers too.
Big banking presence here. When I see banking M & A articles in the local paper that say new jobs are coming here, I think of the laid-off Wall St DB readers who may be looking for “some news they can use”. That’s all.
I wrote up a summary on Tuesday, but I won’t plug up DB with a post unless some of the laid-off are interested.
Anybody interested?
