In case you missed it yesterday, that rumor about Dick Fuld getting punched in the face has turned out to be true, if "two very senior sources" are to be believed. A few weeks ago we received a tip about the Gorilla working out at the Lehman Brothers gym on a Sunday, and in the process getting knocked out by a Lehman employee. We were skeptical because what kind of idiot who, it had been widely reported, hired several body guards in case someone wanted to take a shot, would put himself out there like that, especially when he has a gym at his house in Greenwich, where, presumably, no one wants him dead? Anyway, for those of you who've been keeping track, Fuld is now two for two re: losing fistfights. If anyone is planning on going for round three, please let us know, and we promise we'll believe you this time (provided round three hasn't gone down already, following the treadmill KO, in the men's locker room).

I have yet to see anyone state that this occurred in the Lehman gym? Did I miss something?

The probability of the rumor being true is very high since the guy is so popular.

Hearing it wasn't in the Lehman gym. It was in the handicap stall on the 31st floor men's room.

My incredibly senior sources told me that the Dick wants to lay low after LEH's bankruptcy. Reporting the assault doesn't fit in that desire.
