  3. Posted by prgy | October 29, 2008 at 11:33 AM

Good for them. Cannot fault anyone for wanting to be a partner in GS. Speaking of fault, did anyone see the Laker/Trailblazers game last night?

  4. Posted by guest | October 29, 2008 at 11:36 AM

    (Asian Partners)/(White Partners)

  5. Posted by guest | October 29, 2008 at 11:44 AM

@3. What is this Laker/Trailblazer game you speak? What sport is this?

  6. Posted by guest | October 29, 2008 at 11:44 AM

so it seems that pretty much the whole fucking company is a partner. Big fucking deal. Fuck these douchebag elitist prix. Their day in the sun is overJohnny Over!!!!!

  7. Posted by guest | October 29, 2008 at 11:45 AM

Unfortunately, we needed the government to keep us from failing, so you won’t be getting a bonus this year.

@7- learn how to use a search function

  9. Posted by guest | October 29, 2008 at 11:48 AM

at #7 oh by the way GS earmarked 13B for bonuses.Remember they called for 150 dollar crude? Well they sold all the way up. MAZEL TOV !!!

  10. Posted by guest | October 29, 2008 at 11:48 AM

@ 4 Most of these “partners” at GS didn’t graduate from college 5 years ago, or even 20. What was the Asian / White analyst ratio in the 80s?

  11. Posted by guest | October 29, 2008 at 11:49 AM

How can they be called partners when this is a public company and now a bank holding company?
Did anyone tell them that they are not partnership anymore and that title is a total misnomer otherwise.
    Dumb asses.

    @ 6
    Jealous/ignorant much?

  13. Posted by guest | October 29, 2008 at 11:55 AM

at 13 zero jealousy just a believer in justice,Karma and the American way. By the way you’re name is giving assholes the world over a bad rap.

  14. Posted by guest | October 29, 2008 at 11:58 AM

@12: I was wondering that too. I guess I’m a partner in IBM and any other company I own stock in. Oh, and hey, buy 100 shares of GS and theoretically you, too, are a partner!

  15. Posted by guest | October 29, 2008 at 12:03 PM

What must it feel like to not be on that list since it seems like everyone is on it?

  16. Posted by guest | October 29, 2008 at 12:04 PM

Question: former Lehmanite here, and its been a lonely October (to say the least). Does it make me gay if I cum at the same time as the guy in the porno?

  17. Posted by guest | October 29, 2008 at 12:07 PM

    at #17 ask ANAL_YST.

  18. Posted by guest | October 29, 2008 at 12:08 PM

@17…Bess should have an opinion she is afterall the DB expert on Peter North.

  19. Posted by cy | October 29, 2008 at 12:15 PM

    9-
Can we stop with this conspiracy theory nonsense that the goldman trading desk was somehow in cahoots with the energy analysts to pump and dump everyone else with their bullish crude calls? Although I don’t know for certain, I’d imagine the guys on the energy desk pay as much attention to the analysts as everyone else should: ZERO.

  20. Posted by guest | October 29, 2008 at 12:16 PM

who really thinx that GS is the begin all and end all of the world. They sold out. They’re no better than all the co.’s they’ve downgraded and shorted. GOOD RIDDANCE.

  21. Posted by guest | October 29, 2008 at 12:16 PM

Congratulations! You have been promoted to First Mate of the HMS Titanic. Now grab a bucket.

  22. Posted by cy | October 29, 2008 at 12:17 PM

    17-
If the guy is cumming all over another dude, you’re probably gay. If its on a chick, probably not.

  23. Posted by guest | October 29, 2008 at 12:18 PM

there is no bonus this yr for the industry right? so these guys get paid nothing?

  24. Posted by guest | October 29, 2008 at 12:22 PM

20, don’t be so gullible.you sound like a fool. Conspiracy theory. I’d say not.

  25. Posted by guest | October 29, 2008 at 12:31 PM

BO is trashing wall street in his rally this morning.

  26. Posted by guest | October 29, 2008 at 12:31 PM

this is where fun comes to die

  27. Posted by guest | October 29, 2008 at 12:40 PM

Okay, then, which of you is single? Looking?

  28. Posted by cy | October 29, 2008 at 12:43 PM

    25-
I’m not the one listening (and especially not acting on) the market predictions of others. Who is the gullible fool?

  29. Posted by girl | October 29, 2008 at 12:44 PM

Is this like the Forbes Billionaire List where the only single guy is inbred and cross-eyed? Because if so, this list is of no use to me.

  30. Posted by guest | October 29, 2008 at 12:50 PM

Is partner now equivalent to head teller?

  31. Posted by guest | October 29, 2008 at 1:04 PM

Fuck the new partners….I want to know happened with those cripples they went recruiting in Chicago last week – any bites at the GS booth?

  32. Posted by guest | October 29, 2008 at 1:08 PM

And where is the layoff list….I imagine it is much much longer these days!

  33. Posted by guest | October 29, 2008 at 2:26 PM

    Hey Partner!
Maybe you can get in on the 67 shares of MYR group that Goldman sold for $10.50 a share on 10/22!

  34. Posted by guest | October 29, 2008 at 3:04 PM

Any way we can see the list of those who didn’t make partner?
I bet there’s some sad souls at GS right now…

  35. Posted by guest | October 29, 2008 at 3:30 PM

I count 95 partners and 3,200 out of a job

  36. Posted by guest | October 29, 2008 at 3:36 PM

Just curious – how many Hebe vs. Goy names on that Partner list?

  37. Posted by guest | October 29, 2008 at 3:52 PM

Love it when these Bugger Bears keep illegally tampering with SEC filings..The first $10.00 trade wasn’t on the file an hour ago.
A Goldman filing for ‘Limelight’ was also scotched between yesterday and today.
    You AINT real PARTNERS

  38. Posted by guest | October 29, 2008 at 4:09 PM

I heard all the new partners get to share 2 to an office when they move out to Citi center in Queens. Everyone else will be moved to Jersey.
Broad Street will become as special depository/museum of level 3 assets in bearer form.

Hey look – at least one Lehman can celebrate this year (David A.)

  41. Posted by guest | October 30, 2008 at 10:44 AM

Congrats to all those who made it to this prestigious level. Too bad so many don’t realize how much work and effort is involved both in education and experience to achieve something like this.
