Mark Haines: "We just saw a headline from Dow Jones newswires that said 'Iran fighters force down U.S. Aircraft. That's all it said, no more details'."
Russian have Advanced on Iceland and Georgia, Iran advances on Iraq, our enemies smell our weakness and are moving in for the kill. And its all thanks to Joe Mozillo.
Mark Haines needs to be taken outside and shot. The guy used to be respectable, but he's acted like a total buffoon the last few weeks. Did anyone see what he just said to the guy talking about the VIX?

"Corsi had promised a news conference today that would "expose details of deep secret ties between U.S. Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama and a section of Kenya government leaders, their connection to certain sectoral groups in Kenya and subsequent plot to be executed in Kenya should Senator Obama win the American presidency."
The pilots were LIBERALS who were surrendurring to Iran (back me up on this #9 ) and want to make iranese the nashunal langu...lingui...uh,,the way we are to talk in public all the time!
#9 is right that the LIBERALS want to wave a white flag and give up our cars to Ismuslic radicles who wouldnt allow Yosemite Sam mudflaps on our cars anymore. Yew can have my mudflaps when you pry my cold dead hands frome them you Ismuslic LIBERALS!!
@6 McCain is toast. He sealed his fate when he chose Palin. President Palin - I'm scared shitless of that. I, for one, was all set to vote for McCain, but now I have to stomach Obama. We could be invaded tomorrow and I wouldn't vote for him because of her.
@#5....You stupid fucks don't HAVE to watch CNBC and Haines....there are TWO other business channels and perhaps more credible and reputable. Mark Haines is one of the better CNBC talents so leave him alone. Try ripping down the broads who through their actions, have caused some important fund handlers to piss away a lot of shareholders money, knowingly, and kept it up. Think back about two years.....be waiting.
Per the Iranians - the plane was hungarian, had no american's aboard.
You can bet if there had been Americans, this would already be an international incident, and have the Iranians claiming it was a strategic nuclear bomber en route to Tehran.
It can't be an F-16 because the Iranians said it had passengers. So it's a Dassault Falcon, which by the way, it's also owned by various military in Europe.
I reckon those poor Hungarian bastards were trying to defect before they got conscripted into teaching all those Islandic retail bankers how to hunt trees and shrubs.
Couldn't have been an American plane, as logic would have told you. Bushie would be down on his knees alternating between thanking God and fellating Cheney while trying to get the words "Invade Iran to get our people back and fuck this economy bullshit!" out around his turgid member.

a falcon is a business jet...this can't be too serious. Even if it was a military falcon it was not a combat or combat related flight.

Maybe it was the democratic nominee going to have a nice talk with their government? And darn, guess they weren't interested in talking.
Posted by guest , Oct 07, 2008 9:48AM
Unless they meant "fighting falcon" which is an F-16. Unlikely though.
Posted by EricM , Oct 07, 2008 9:51AM
@7, F-16 = Falcon, not just a Daussalt. Seems a dubious claim, though.
Posted by guest , Oct 07, 2008 9:52AM
Can't have been an f-16 - they talked about "passengers".

It can't be an F-16 because the Iranians said it had passengers. So it's a Dassault Falcon, which by the way, it's also owned by various military in Europe.

BBC report here:
Iran 'forces down foreign plane'
A foreign aircraft has been forced to land in Iran after violating Iranian airspace, Iranian news agencies say.
The semi-official Fars said the plane was a US Falcon carrying military officials, while state TV said it was European with no Americans on board.
The Pentagon denied any of its planes had been involved in such an incident and that none had landed in Iran.
Iranian TV said those on board were freed a day later and the aircraft allowed to continue its journey.
The reports did not say when the incident took place.
The Fars report said the aircraft, en route to Afghanistan, entered Iranian airspace from Turkey, flying at low altitude to avoid radar.
It said the plane was intercepted by Iranian fighter jets and forced to land at an unspecified airport.
The reports said its occupants were released after it became clear they had entered the country unintentionally.

report has been disproved. turns out to have been a hungarian jet, no americans aboard.

Haines just said the market is "spent and exhausted" and needs to calm down. An illusion to sex?
