The M to the S froze his largest fund, or we should probably say, froze Platinum Grove Asset Management’s largest fund, since the firm is larger than just one person, you know. All this according to an article in Bloomberg (which has been dutifully tracking his the firm’s impending doom since the markets started coming unglued) which tries to conceal the obvious Scholes lust by sticking the name in the middle and bracketing it on all sides with other firm names and tales of woe. We are not fooled. We know who they are after, and we love every minute of it.

    There should be a new edict: Pension funds, univ. endowments and those numbnuts at CALPERS should be banned from investing in HFs. Harsh yes but there is no other way to protect these clueless mofos.

    Scholes once told a colleague of mine who at the time had 20yrs experience trading bonds that he [my colleague] wasn’t smart enough to deal with him [Scholes]. Fuck him.
