“Mr. Cuban intends to contest the allegations and to demonstrate that the Commission’s claims are infected by the misconduct of the staff of its Enforcement Division.”
I mean this kind of poetry is made by one born to write it. It simply cannot be learned.

“Results oriented” is right. The enforcement staff weighed the evidence and their likelihood of winning, and chose to proceed. It’s not like they though Cuban was some low net-worth no-name who would settle a crappy case at almost any cost because he couldn’t afford to defend it.
I hope the blowhard gets crucified on this one. I am no apologist for the SEC, but I’d like to see the good guys win one for a change.

His turn last year on the reality television show “Dancing with the Stars” gave him a high public profile, but he and his professional partner were eliminated after a poor showing in the samba…. (From WSJ)

I thought the commenters on DB were sycophants. Cuban’s blog has some real gems.

does anyone really think that if he ever does actual time, that it will be in anything other than a minimum security dorm like facility with other white collar types? no risk of him becoming someones biaatch, no matter how many people would enjoy that.

He hired Ralph Ferrara? Has Ferrara ever not settled with the SEC? His whole career is based on being BFFs with the SEC. He’ll convince Cuban the best deal he can get is a 6 figure fine and a D&O ban. This would be like hiring Avery Johnson to coach your basketball team…oh wait.

His arrogant karma is catching up with him. I think the comment that went over the top was when he called Trump a douchbag. Two peas in a pod those two.
Maybe he will have better lawyers than Martha.
