Citi Never Sleeps

Customers of New York City-based Citibank have lost access to much of their account information because of a computer outage.
Many of the troubled bank’s clients haven’t been able to retrieve account details online or by telephone since Tuesday afternoon. Others can access only parts of their account profiles.

First the trains… now this. Seriously, Citi, what gives?

    I have all of my money at Madoff, they can fix anything for their client, market down 40%, fixed, I am up 10%.
    What Madoff did wrong was not get some of that TARP money…..

    As an “IT professional” who was recently laid off from one of the Humongous Banks I am NOT happy to see that there’s still someone still out there looking out for their network and servers and got that sh*t running again. Where’s Pandit looking? I’m sure they can cut a few more IT jobs!

    Just Chiti-bank down for a few hours? The entire Toronto and Montreal exchanges have been down most of today. Trial run at entire system shutdown?
