Those are consultants in the front. They are the only ones who have the miles to get an upgrade on a Thursday afternoon flight out of LGA.

  34. Posted by guest | January 17, 2009 at 11:20 PM

Anyone get the FAA number on that plane? Am curious where it will end up. I am guessing Southwest Airlines.

  35. Posted by guest | January 17, 2009 at 11:40 PM

Doesn’t anyone realize that those who make good money – like bankers, hedge fund managers, etc. – at least historically are the ones who pay the taxes?
Most of the tax revenues come from high income people – those below $50,000 or so have enough credit, deductions, etc. to be free from federal taxes.
Let’s stop the “soak the rich commentary”

  36. Posted by guest | January 18, 2009 at 10:44 AM

“Let’s face it. It was a busy week for bailout news and a great week for DailyBail to get started. We’re excited here and are looking forward to unveiling some of our bigger plans soon. We appreciate everyone stopping by during our soft-launch and hope that every single one of you will take a moment to post something in the comments section of one of our stories. Just pull out your soapbox, step up and tell us how you feel about spending your tax dollars on bailing out failure. Share something, share anything. This particular establishment accepts all forms of anger and frustration. Though cliche, there is strength in numbers and ours are growing by the hour. Tell your friends about us; tell your neighbors, heck tell anyone that cares about their future and that of their children and grandchildren. We are here now. We are not going away. And we will not be stopped. Everything else will fall into place, including our elected officials. Washington will be made to listen and soon we will launch the means to make them hear us. So join up with your fellow sufferers here for a few minutes and give us a piece of your mind.”

It’s official. The crash of the US economy has begun. The knock-on effect from the credit crunch is now beginning to bring devastation and catastrophe to other sectors of the US economy. The U.S. bailout measures are good for everyone worldwide, if the cash advances being made work like they’re intended to. However, some are insisting that the bailout is going to wreck the budget and make the deficit explode. Obama and others insist there will be cuts made that will make up for it. Regardless, let us hope that the short term loans we’re making will help to bring back the U.S. economy.
