AIG has some serious balls don't they?

So how's Fuld on the hook to creditors exactly? Recognizing his options aren't worth much, I thought he was more or less losing other people's money.

ShamWow? CNBC viewers are morons.

AIG is putting its too big to fail right up the treasury with an extra finger.

Dick Fuld needs John Thain. They should get acquinted, before they go to jail. At least, as bunk-mates, they stand a marginal chance of not being F*....

TGFD heard that 95% of AIG's business units were profitable; however, one unit with approx 100 people (out of 100k+ within AIG)was responsible for betting the entire company on a play that went seriously bad. You know, the one that lost all the money.
Talk about gamblers. I guess AIG figures that those 100 clowns are the only ones who know how to get the money back. Maybe AIG hasn't had enough. They fire the guy in the big chair, but keep the clowns so they can stay in the game. Unbelievable.

BTW, Some clown arsonist in the Phila suburb of Coatseville, PA has been burning the hell out of houses in his neighborhood lately...Over 20 since the start of '09. He just burned down a string of 14 row houses over the weekend. They've declared a state of emergency there, and everyone in Coatesville is looking for him.
I mention this because if TGFD knew who he is, I would direct him to Nantucket where use of his talents could get him national recognition. After all, Winklereid's place needs torching.

ShamWow! is the come back kid. In five hours ShamWow! went from 42 percent of the total vote of 3,800 to 60 percent of the total vote of 7,300. As guest pointed out yesterday Foreman once again fell the rope-a-dope. Even Ali would be proud.
Guest @6, thanks for the update.

@ TGFD
Winkelreid would probably thank you if someone burned the house down, as its likely insured for far more than he bought it for (guaranteed) and most likely more than he could actually sell it for.
Step 1: Engage brain...

I've got an offer to be a senior analyst at a BB bank in IB Prime Services -- what kind of base salary offer should I expect?
Posted by guest , Jan 27, 2009 8:37PM
@17
you should just go to aig and work credit-default swaps: average bonus is $1,125,000.
ibanking's going to be tough right now, but as a SENIOR analyst: i'd say around $600,000. only because it's a down market.
