And she’ll be there the next time bankers and real estate agents ruin the economy as we knew it. If you don’t want her in your business, don’t do what it takes to get her there.

    What about this golden oldie:
“You know the next step is social…umm
    [pause]
    [pause]
umm, the government taking over the oil companies.”

“It’s a Francophone country, it’s where they speak French.”
    - Maxine on the collect call she received from one Johnnie B. Aristide in the “Central Republic of Africa” whilst being held hostage at the Palace of the Renaissance “not sure if that’s a house or a hotel”

Brilliant! Maybe we can also do a card that is all visual…. each square is a different facial expression of T. Geith reacting to her inane questions. Bonus square is of course the safecracker pose….

    Love it.
    How about “toxic mortgages”?

    Goldy Sack?
“Swaps of the default…” (quote from EP’s post yesterday), would be a bit smooshed, but well worth it.

I have to say I am surprised Maxine is taking shit now, only after she was right for the first time ever with the GS ‘think.’ Am I the only one who finds it odd that she is being lambasted only after she has rightfully pointed out the tricks of this crooked institution? Power to the sheeple I guess if you can not see throw the fog of the GS disinformation campaign. Long live the dark emperor should be the mantra if people are this stupid.

I will have me a Jimmy Dean sausage linked nuance.
    On a fuckin stick baby.

What is really amusing is that 90% of the people that contribute to this blog have no better idea of what is going on in the financial markets than Maxine.
A little learning is a dangerous thing. Just continue to parrot what the ideologues/cheerleaders on CNBC say.

she looks like she’s about to blow that mic

  20. Posted by guest | March 27, 2009 at 12:52 PM

  21. Posted by guest | March 27, 2009 at 12:53 PM

@16 Even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in a while.

  22. Posted by guest | March 27, 2009 at 12:54 PM

@18- what’s amusing is that you’re dead wrong. everyone here knows cnbc is a joke, you clearly found your way in through a side door. feel free to leave.

Does anyone think it looks like she’s about to blow that mic?

  26. Posted by guest | March 27, 2009 at 1:39 PM

I’m not sure how to use Google, so can someone enlighten me as to why T-Geith is called the safecracker? I feel like there is some humorous backstory I am missing out on.

    Maxine has her fans.

    Maxine has her fans.

  29. Posted by guest | March 27, 2009 at 1:55 PM

Love this. She does bring the crazy.
Another I love, although less financially relevant:
Corrine Brown, (D-Fla) – The Gradulation

My favorite part: “It is malice the most the pressure he was under in major college football.” Gradulations indeed.

Her biggest fans are the other members of congress.

  34. Posted by guest | March 27, 2009 at 5:19 PM

I-15. As in, I found 15 subpoenas from Cuomo when I got home from the office.

  35. Posted by guest | March 27, 2009 at 8:17 PM

Next time, Maxine will subpoena all financial hosts/anchors and retards for not warning their innocent viewers about the bubble.
Maxine though will ask Cramer how to manipulate stock trading so she can use it to catch crooks. She is the best person who can police the Wall Street and no one else.

  36. Posted by guest | March 27, 2009 at 11:07 PM

What Maxine knows that you don’t know is who Erin Burnett is flirting/sleeping with in Washington.
She goes their a lot….yeah, baby it’s a weekend oohhs and ahhss!
