Eat Out, With Mike Moore

Michael Moore put out the word last month that he was looking for Wall Streeters to talk shit shop for his next film but that was just a cattle call for the plebes. What you really wanna get in on is the exclusive dinner and dish sesh he’s hosting in a few weeks, with “10 bankers, traders and hedge fund mangers,” one of which could be you! The whole thing will be filmed and used in the upcoming project, so you’d best start working on your lines now or risk being left on the cutting room floor. Also: the “casual chat” is being held at an “undisclosed” restaurant, but surely you people can figure it out. Thinking the 21 Club is too easy.

  4. Posted by guest | March 9, 2009 at 11:35 AM

Michael Moore seems like a Tad’s Steaks kind of guy

  5. Posted by guest | March 9, 2009 at 11:37 AM

But, if I have dinner with MM and the others, there’s a chance I might get “discovered” and become a big Hollywood star like Charles Napier.

Yeah why dont all of you idiots on WS go meet with Moore. He is hoping he can prey upon your situation to make ticket sales. He is a bloated bag of shit. As the once great Al Goldstein once said…
    “Mike Moore…FUCK YOU!”

attending this would be like watching the octa/decabox live—a heavy dose of opiates of some form would be mandatory to keep any hope of sanity.

Dinner might not be the best idea.
Turncoat Fund Manager: This is hard for me to admit, but we’ve operated all along as essentially a mechanism to loot pension funds and endowments, buying forbearance with well-placed political contributions. Here’s how we did it….
Moore: You gonna finish those fries?
    TFM: What?
Moore: Those fries. You gonna eat ‘em?
TFH: Yes….I mean, no. Go ahead, I guess. Now…..um….I forgot what I was saying.

    Golden Corral? Sizzler?
Conversation: “I think Obama is really mishandling this situation and his budget GDP projections are completely idiotic. Trying to think of something positive he has done..”
Movie: “I think Obama is positive. (terribly dubbed audio) Bush sucks, inherited”

  13. Posted by guest | March 9, 2009 at 11:57 AM

So let me guess–dinner will be with some family inforclosure at the house they’re getting kicked out of… Did I get it?

  14. Posted by guest | March 9, 2009 at 11:59 AM

  15. Posted by guest | March 9, 2009 at 12:03 PM

So, the Palm is out then.

  16. Posted by guest | March 9, 2009 at 12:04 PM

    On another note.
I guess Obama believes that government spending on corporate welfare is ok ias long as it includes murder.

  17. Posted by guest | March 9, 2009 at 12:21 PM

14 Morgan Spurlock beat him to it.
    16- um, what?

  18. Posted by guest | March 9, 2009 at 12:24 PM

Does anyone even give a shit about that dirty fuck? I bet he has a killer man/boy porn collection.
    He is so irrelevant.

  19. Posted by guest | March 9, 2009 at 12:33 PM

@14 thank you for agreeing with the obvious. Please define “as liberal as they come”
Do you want to blow Clinton too? Do you drive a prius? hug trees? Think Pelosi looks like smokin in the light of the senate? or do you just like giving other peoples hard earned cash to other people? Maybe you use a limo or plane and like to tell others not to use their own to save the environment?
    Do define…I am really curious.

  20. Posted by guest | March 9, 2009 at 12:35 PM

Michael Moore is fat? Whoa, were do you guys come up with such fresh, new material?
    As for his relevancy?

So I guess we can rule the Waverly out as well; they don’t take table reservations for D-listers.

  22. Posted by guest | March 9, 2009 at 12:38 PM

At least he knows how to say Phuket in Thai.

  23. Posted by guest | March 9, 2009 at 12:43 PM

@20 i am not sure of your point? Yes he makes movies and they gross some cash but to put in perspective…WatchMen opened to 55 million in just the weekend and thats a fucking cartoon. So i ask again…what is that FAT FUCKS relevance?

  24. Posted by guest | March 9, 2009 at 12:50 PM

    What an awful human being.

  25. Posted by guest | March 9, 2009 at 12:54 PM

@23. well, for starters, he’s still relevant enough to infuriate you, dumbass.
he’s also going to be putting out a movie that is going to shape the viewpoints of a ton of people. viewpoints that will in turn shape legislation on your industry, your paycheck, your future career opportunities, etc.
i’d pay attention if i were you.

  26. Posted by guest | March 9, 2009 at 1:14 PM

Great headline Bess. Yes, I hope MM burns in h@# for the lives he’s destroyed.

  27. Posted by guest | March 9, 2009 at 2:00 PM

25- yes he obviously whipped the automakers into shape!

  28. Posted by guest | March 9, 2009 at 3:17 PM

Actually he doesnt infuriate me. You, see I hate stupid people (that infuriates me) you and all the other idiots who get “influenced” by person like him piss me off. I would take a second look at his relvance given his highest grossing movie 911 was supposed to INFLUENCE people to vote for Kerry. i am not sure if you are waiting to see how the story ends but here’s a hint…it doesnt go well for Kerry.
Fatss has no relevance, he is a pig who has no agneda other then his own purse. If he can influence you please do yourself a favor. Dont tell people about it.

  29. Posted by guest | March 9, 2009 at 3:17 PM

@25 “A ton of people”? Did you really meant to phrase is that way? Would “a ton of people” be MM plus two other people?

  30. Posted by guest | March 9, 2009 at 7:23 PM

@27, don’t forget the healthcare industry, he really opened a lot of eyes with that expose…

  31. Posted by guest | March 10, 2009 at 5:12 PM

Results – a man is measured by his accomplishments. What exactly has Michael Moore accomplished after releasing a half dozen hit movies? He’s certainly made bank, not bad for some fat boy from Flint, but that is about it.
The issue is that the people who actually care about his movies have no power to change anything – by themselves or collectively.

  32. Posted by guest | March 28, 2009 at 6:07 PM

@31, who cares about your useless ramblings of self-worth evaluation. What have you done in your life except post diatribe/drivel on others who actually have achieved things.
And, if you don’t think people have the power to change things, I suggest you visit your local library and check out some history books.
