    when did don king become a chairman in the house of rep?

  4. Posted by guest | March 19, 2009 at 11:40 AM

    The only solace is that Congressmen have always been complete idiots and/or hypocrites. The USA is still standing after 200+ years of this sh*t, so we’ll probably survive the current crop of ‘tards as well.

    I think you have to have integrity before it can be impugned. Clearly not a problem for Charlie.

    Peter Schiff just showed why a journalism major shouldn’t pretend to be a senior economics editor on a major business news channel. I hope John Stewart is paying attention.

    @6- please be smarter:
    “Peter Schiff was born in New Haven, Connecticut and was raised in Manhattan and Miami. He graduated from the University of California, Berkeley in 1987 with a degree in finance and accounting.[6]”

    7 I know Schiffs credentials – I’m referring to Steve Liesman.

    Hilarious. Now Haines is trying to play reporter after years of being “So, Mr. Fund Manager, will you have a job for me when I finish this gig?”

  10. Posted by guest | March 19, 2009 at 12:09 PM

    Amyone else want to chip in to send Chawlie to Mt. Tremblant to learn how to ski this weekend ?

  11. Posted by guest | March 19, 2009 at 12:20 PM

    @9 Haines for the only one who called BS. You mistake him for Insana or Griffith.

  12. Posted by guest | March 19, 2009 at 12:22 PM

    Wow #9. What you found funny in this clip was Haines trying to ‘play’ reporter?
    Are you one The Daily Show writers?

  13. Posted by guest | March 19, 2009 at 12:22 PM

    @10 – where do I send the money? An account in Switzerland, I assume.

    let’s give a warm welcome to the newest addition to the white house hitlist, mr. mark haines.

  15. Posted by guest | March 19, 2009 at 12:26 PM

    It is a truely sad state of affairs when we are relying on a Congress led by Pelossi, Rangel, Dodd, Frank, Waters …to solve the economic crisis. They are a bunch of incompetent, corrupt, hypocrites who rise to positions of power due only to their ability to get relected by small Congressional districts, or sates in the case of Dodd.

  16. Posted by guest | March 19, 2009 at 12:27 PM

    bravo haines. rangel should be removed but of course wont. the idea of him proposing these taxes is unintentional comedy personified

  17. Posted by guest | March 19, 2009 at 12:28 PM

    fatass left out the fact that “if reporter’s reports on congressmen’s ethics were actually followed. Reporters would be running the congress”
    Reporters would also be Sec of the Treasury and filling seats in Obama’s cabinet.
    Senet Ethics Commitee= Contradiction in terms.

  18. Posted by guest | March 19, 2009 at 12:39 PM

    will rangel give back all the Fannie, Freddie, AIG and other TARP recipient donations he received over the past 5 years? I doubt it.

    hope he has charlies address

  20. Posted by guest | March 19, 2009 at 12:43 PM

    The foreign banks must be loving this. Now they can go recruit all the best bankers in the U.S. The end of U.S. financial dominance arrives thanks to Obama and his commie clowns…

  21. Posted by guest | March 19, 2009 at 1:12 PM

    @20 oh yes all that amazing talent will go over seas…
    They will be missed, like a proctology exam. We need those assholes like I need a penis on the bottom of my foot.
    I hope the EU needs some ethically challenged politicians too. They can all take Pelosi’s airplane and get the fuck outta here.

  22. Posted by guest | March 19, 2009 at 1:36 PM

    Good job Rangel get the bastards!
    Erin and Mark stop kissing Wall street scum bags’s asses!

  23. Posted by guest | March 19, 2009 at 1:40 PM

    @22- You go Bitch…
    Yeah erin start kissing Rangel’s huge bloated tax evading, scoff law ass. Fuck WS, go Rangel!
    @22- When Rangle pulls out do you 2 cuddle?

  24. Posted by guest | March 19, 2009 at 1:41 PM

    CNBC obviously is on the side of Wal street crooks who ripped out American public to pieces. Shame on you.
    Rangel is doing what he was elected to do: defending American public.

  25. Posted by guest | March 19, 2009 at 1:54 PM

    @22,24 = sheeple

  26. Posted by guest | March 19, 2009 at 2:09 PM

    @25 AIG= arrogant, incompetent, greedy!
    I feel sorry for the bonus you lost!
    Ba bye Mazarati…ba bye Ferrari…

  27. Posted by guest | March 19, 2009 at 5:57 PM

    Actually, I think it’s “impugn” not “impugn on” – if it’s intentional , I don’t get the point.

  28. Posted by guest | March 19, 2009 at 6:04 PM

    @27- perhaps it’s a grammatical error? take the dick out your ass and get over yourself.

  29. Posted by e_anthony58 | March 20, 2009 at 12:53 PM

    CNBC markets itself to Wall Street. Nothing wrong with that. That’s media.
    And it does try to investigate anything thats going wrong. Thats where Faber, Gaspo and Steve L. come in!
    So it cant always fight for Wall Street. What it can do more of is cater to Main Street. Haines aint helping.
    CNBC: aint nothing wrong with looking for another younger talent from 9 to 11am.

  30. Posted by guest | March 21, 2009 at 10:01 AM

    Wow, I’m surprised they could get Tracy Jordan from 30 rock to do an interview for that long.
