Why the f*ck does Larry Summers have a mid-90's Mazda? Also, don't most of these people make like $150-200k/year? Why the hell are they all driving like $25-$30k mediocre-at-best whips?

the cars make sense. even if they are making 150k/year, that isn't much, especially when you're that old, live in a big city, and likely have a wife, kids, and possibly and ex-wife.

@10 These aren't your typical economy cars (see: newer model Ford Escape hybrid, Prius), these are really shitty cars for the most part. There's some middle ground between a $5,000 '00 Buick Regal and a $80,000 '09 BMW...if these guys really drive these cars it screams CAREER POLITICIAN aka loser @ life aka.
I hope the specific cars listed were cherry picked from the multiple cars actually registered to these guys.

I guess many people still do not get how scary it is that people who very evidently know so little about cars are going to run the biggest car companies in the world.
Well, then again - their idea of cars is electric powered golf cars puttering around the city. I guess they will run the company appropriately. Middle America better start fucking and producing large litters pretty soon else the ghettos will take them over in this majoritarian democracy pretty soon!

One of the principals at a fund I used to work for drove a '00 Saturn to work everyday...
When he had us over his MANSION for a holiday party later that year, there was a Maserati, Lotus and an older Ferrari (I forget what model) in the garage with the doors up. I remember this vividly b/c as soon as I saw that, I said to myself, "my f*%cking bonus better be off the charts this year..."
What these politicos actually DRIVE to work doesn't mean squat...
