Instead he’ll be getting a 9-11 morning spot starting June 29 on MSNBC. Which means he’s keeping in the GE family, but will be in direct competition with Squawk Box‘s Erin Burnett and Mark Haines. Who will show us their tits first in the name of ratings (or just good will)? Stay tuned. Passive aggressive statement from D-rat: “While I look forward to broadening my scope in covering the multitude of issues facing our country today, what draws me to MSNBC is that they have offered me a 2-hour forum to discuss any and all political issues with no directive other than to provide compelling content. Which apparently now I actually have to do.”

@5- what? you somehow knew he’d end up there?

If Erin Burnett went Tom Hanks in “Saving Private Ryan” and started a pool for having us wager whether or not she’s still a virgin would keep her ratings up for many moons.

If you want any type of credibility, or want to be taken seriously as a journalist, you wouldn’t join MSNBC.
    Seriously…

Dylan Ratigan has the dreamiest hair and his eyes are smoldering.

Looks like old D-Rat is on the road to perdition. The only people who watch MSNBC are on gym treadmills and lack the techno savvy to change channels

DylRat is nothing more than a human pile of excrement floating in the Gowanus Canal.

Only way Dylan could compete with Haines’ rack is to trade up from his man-perm to a pompadour.
…on a related note, I’d like to shave Erin’s privates.

He better keep his hands off my Erin Burnett because she is the future of NBC.
    Wonder what happened with ABC.

Dylan Ratigan is an insightful and interesting person. I for one am happy to see him land on his feet. Do you people really think you could do any better?

so dylan left CNBC and went from dennis kneale to keith olbermann.
i didn’t think it was possible to downgrade from kneale, but i’ve obviously been proven wrong.

I saw Dylan for the first time last night on Keith’s show. I got prematurely excited and thought he was going to REPLACE Morning Joe. Maybe in time.
I tuned in this morning and was sad to see that he’s being “handled” by the lame Mika, Willy and Mike crew. The tension was palpable. They seem very patronizing — I’m sure Griffin is sending a message to Joe and crew that the end is near. Maybe they can still ride Joe’s coat tails down to a show on Fox.

He should have gone to CNN.
I’ve always thought he was the perfect man to fill the slot below Aderson Cooper.
