We Are As Dumb As We Look

Yes, they were eye-wateringly high, but you didn’t really believe the initial budget deficit estimates that came out of the White House, did you? I mean, you knew they were a crock of reptile dung when first their stench wafted by your nostrils, didn’t you? Or did you? Were you soothed by the placating and calming words that accompanied the figures? Are you as likely to be cowed by assurances that there are a few billions in savings in there somewhere that over the years will “add up?” Exactly how financially challenged do the powers that be think we are?
Wait, don’t answer that.

The White House on Monday pushed up its forecast for the U.S. budget deficit for this year by $89 billion, reflecting the recession, a raft of new unemployment claims and corporate bailouts.
A fresh estimate of the deficit showed it coming in at $1.84 trillion — representing a massive 12.9 percent of gross domestic product — in the current 2009 fiscal year that ends on September 30. A prior White House forecast released in February projected a deficit of $1.75 trillion, or 12.3 percent of GDP.

How can anyone come to any conclusion other than we are fucked?
Years of high taxes to support massive debt service commitments, years of lower productivity and years of below average economic growth.
We are fucked. Chance we can believe in, I guess.

    Hope and Change, baby!!
Just had a friend complete the “five people I would like to punch in the face” survey on facebook. Predictably, he chose Bush, Rove, Coulter, Limbaugh, Cheney.
You’d never believe these folks won an election. Still so angry.
Funny how now that Obama’s deficits are soaring beyond the troposphere, lefties’ rationalization is that Bush forced him to. Sure. Mmmm hmmm . . .
This chart makes me want to . . . think about having some tea . . .

As the west falls Hong Kong becomes just as China as they see no need to honour their agreement with the Britsh and as China begins to show its true colours again you’ll find that Communists dont like bankers and are not squeemish about dishing out the peoples justice.
getting relocated to Hong Kong is the new killing yourself
Or stay home and soon realise our russian friends true colours as can be seen clearly in this recent video http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/europe/8041503.stm at 2 minutes and 31 seconds+.
Funny that whilst you bankers think your so smart actually you are just another breed of usefull idiots doing these peoples work for them. Once your pupose is served you’ll find that dolars dont protect you from war, occupation and the peoples justice. Perhaps you might then have the intelegence to see your part in all of this – but it will be too late.

It’s never too late for spell check, either.

10 Thank you for pointing out this error. Please dont let it distract you from the deadly serious message here. We are all in this together at the end of the day and by the looks of it we are all fucked. I will try and help people see the all too obvious consequences of our actions to which we seem to be so blind. Dont expect me to take to much time over what is probarbly a lost cause anyhow though.
