My anecdotal evidence says times have ceetainly changed if there is any truth to the atlantic story. My old man was a pediatrician for 50 years and he left at dawn, came home well after dark, his phone was ringing all night w/ mothers who’s kids just needed some rest and ginger- ale or a soapy washcloth, and he never took off more than 2 weeks at a time.
OTOH, I used to work for a shop that required a month sabbatical after every 3 years making markets to avoid burnout.

What did I miss on this shitty workday?
Mafioso credit markets, and Cheney giving “just a little index finger action” to Kudlow under the brown, lake water.
    And Rattner. And Rattner.
    Is DB still hiring?

the Above the Law blog where they are asking the question: Should Judge Sotomayor be confirmed in a poll. So far the no’s are losing badly to the overwhelmingly positive yes guys. So you should all weigh in.
