Remember, back in the heady days of June 2007, when Blackstone co-founder Pete Peterson's daughter Holly wrote the barely beach readable book The Manny, which was promoted by this class-fest of a video, featuring Karen Duffy rapping about the perks of having a male nanny on staff, and included a transvestite maid and a midget?
Peterson was said to be horrified by the tome and publicly described Holly as "the most egregious self-promoter in America." So surely he's super-psyched to watch (or not watch) as his grandson, Peter Carey ("PC"), nephew of Holly, stars in Bravo's new reality series, Prep, which is of the same genre as the Real Housewives but follows a bunch of bratty New York teenagers. Let's meet PC, who tells us "the recession is my bitch," now.

getting downtown is suchhhhh a pain in the ass. wtf else are you doing, 18 year old?

Pete Peterson seems like a good man, this situation is unfortunate.

I wonder if he (did) rolls with the Noels in Mustique? You know, the stupidest guy in my fraternity became an architect - after he flunked out of dental school!
Man I wish grandpa Buffet was here to take away his family rights.

Yeah, a billionaire gratutiously moaning about otehrs getting paid a miniscule fraction of what he made himself off their work. Gee, real nice guy.
F'him.

@5- doubtful, as he's about 20 years younger than the youngest Noel daughter (Marisa).

TGFD agrees with #6.
Pete Peterson? F'k him and all that he holds dear.

The Atlantic has an interesting piece, the timing of which is very appropriate for Herr Peterson about age and happiness and all that jazz, I found it alternatively painfully and pleasantly disconcerting, seems to (around page 3) nail Peterson's type perfectly

Pete Peterson is not a nice man. There.

Peter Carey really didn't seem like a half bad guy. Good looking too.
I know kids from families not even a quarter as rich as Pete Peterson's and they're total stuck up douchbags.

It is 430am Saturday morning and I have been awake for 30 minutes because I thought it was Friday morning. I am going about my normal schedule anyway, but i am too tried to go back to sleep after getting home at 130am. Therefore, I will beat off to Jenna Lee when Fox Business Morning comes on in 30 minutes. Then run on the treadmill some while thinking about how much of my clients money I am going to lose today. Next, I will shower and go to work early, keeping and eye on Jenna during Money For Breakfast news updates while I act like I'm trading overseas. I will then mock another trader when he comes in and talks about Mad Money last night while I was getting bombed at a local bar. I will then pull it together long enough to go to an early lunch so I can get back in time to watch Foxbusiness.com live on the net at noon. At 130pm I will short the hell out of whatever they talked about on Fast Money Lunch Edition, making Joe T look like a total clown. I will then sneak out early and catch a nap at home before sneaking back in long enough to tell people goodbye at 6pm. At that point I will go drink and ask hookers out. It is Friday, so everything is fair game, right?

@12
Wow! Sounds like you are the only Fox Biz Net viewer I've ever heard of. Is that a paid comment by any chance?

PP's the biggest jerk-off in America.
Which is saying something because he plays in a tough conference.
Looks his family's nothing but chips off the old block.

@13... I am 12, and while Jenna is smoking, the comment is written in jest. Business TV is for grandmom and her SS check and her grandson's 500 USD scottrade account.

Your children are no more than a reflection in the mirror. I know many wealthy children who are extremely polite, kind, non-douchey. They also wouldn't be caught dead on a reality show. I think that's the common thread here. If you go on a reality show you're pretty much a douche. Springer Syndrome.
