To put this in perspective: "On Monday April 27, in the midst of the 2009 swine flu outbreak, Bachmann stated on conservative media outlet Pajamas TV that the last swine flu outbreak in the U.S. occurred under "another Democrat President", Jimmy Carter, and that she was not blaming President Obama for the outbreak but that she found it to be an "interesting coincidence". Contrary to her statement, the previous swine flu outbreak occurred while President Gerald Ford was in office.
She is, of course, Republican.
