Like Greg (and the universe) did yesterday, after DK’s proclamation that “the recession is over.” Unless you’re in the market for the business end of one of Kneale’s trademark screechy ass hissy fits, in which case, proceed.

This is The Great CNBC Sucks. It’s too late and there was no “suggesting”. “Dennis Kneale” and “idiot” have been merged into a singular tag on WordPress.com for a year:
    http://en.wordpress.com/tag/dennis-kneale-is-an-idiot/
I seem to have the majority of the posts.

Let me be the first to say that Dennis Kneale is an IDIOT.

  13. Posted by guest | June 30, 2009 at 10:51 PM

It is soooooo on! Go get him Bess. A couple of acid barbs would have him crying for his mommy.

BTW this is a one-night-only fling between DealBreaker and The Great CNBC Sucks. I retired for the 300,000th time from the Ritholtz blog and I miss Barry Wuzzy, kinda the way Mark Sanford misses his Argentinian mistress. Well, not really.
Speaking of flings, Moe, if you are reading this, sorry I missed your email about drinks last Saturday.

Why not claim the recession is over? Its a pretty good gamble for a second rate talking head. In 8 months when they come out and declare that this was the official end of the recession he can play back the clips and look great, and if its a few months later, then no one ever mentions this on air and he loses nothing.

We still hate what Eliot Spitzer’s love of whores has done to Jim Cramer, but we’ve got to give the former Governor props for orchestrating the singular awesomeness that was this exchange between CNBC’s Charlie Gasparino and Dennis Kneale. Charlie gets pissed off at Neal for interrupting him, Kneale points out the irony in Charlie being annoyed with someone for “pulling a Gasparino” and Charlie proceeds to pose the question we’ve all been dying to ask, does Dennis Kneale use hookers?

Agree, the ZH response was way over the top and unnecessarily wordy. I liked how Bess handled this, much more funny and to the point.
Since I make it a point of not watching CNBC, does Kneale has his own show now? Bizarre if true.

  109. Posted by guest | July 1, 2009 at 6:15 AM

I’d like to know the dark, dirty secret he has on the producer that got him on the network. He epitomizes the classic example of someone a few decades overdue for an ass kicking (utterly humiliated, at the very least). He’s not the only person on CNBC for which this comment applies. Who let this fucking guy in here?!?

  111. Posted by guest | July 1, 2009 at 7:30 AM

What a dooshbag!! Dennis Kneale has his head so far up his ass. Based on this clip, its clear that he is neither a credible journalist NOR a reliable economist. Not only is he wrong…HE’S DOWNRIGHT ANNOYING. Nothing is worse than an insecure (wannabe) journalist going on the attack to defend themselves. Its like being at the dentist getting a root canal without any pain meds.

that has then expanded to the hour before power lunch, and if i have it on at all after 2 pm (or between 10 and 11) i have it on mute.
insana was ok as a tv commentator, bad in every other forum. he’s now got a for-pay service with thestreet.com
sorry it’s not snarky, but i know that i’m not the only one who left cnbc because of this dweeb. 111 says it all.

  116. Posted by guest | July 1, 2009 at 8:30 AM

  120. Posted by guest | July 1, 2009 at 9:27 AM

@118 and anyone associated with him ever being hired in the first place… he’s been bad for a very long time now. he likes to create conflict but goes about doing so in such a pathetic way. it’s one thing to play devil’s advocate when you also offer insightful commentary as well… he doesn’t! (never has and never will). I kind of suspect that pushing him to the later slot is a prelude to being taken behind the barn and shot but only time will tell. Maybe they’re prepping him for a late-night comedy show where he just spouts off his views of the world.

  121. Posted by NAS Keflavik boi | July 1, 2009 at 9:29 AM

DK was CLEARLY the “wedgie king” of his junior high — his use of the juvenile term “dickweed” and the very noticeable crack in his voice evidences that somebody has hit a very deep nerve.
Outstanding work, Bessalina. A few more digs and that assclown will have an on-air breakdown and go out on disability.

  122. Posted by guest | July 1, 2009 at 9:40 AM

We should all file complaints with the FCC for Kneale’s use of ‘dickweed’… I just don’t want my children hearing such things on the TV. I think if he becomes more of a headache to the powers-that-be he will be off the network in no time.

Was Gasparino sending a signal to Bess that by having dinner together the other night, that was a hint that other CNBC assholes were coming after the blogosphere including Dealbreaker?
Is CNBC “going to the mattresses” (stained as they are) against the blogs this summer?

  126. Posted by guest | July 1, 2009 at 10:10 AM

@125 CG loves Bess. DK is the only one at CNBC “going after” the blogosphere.

  127. Posted by guest | July 1, 2009 at 10:41 AM

I guess he no longer appears on “Dolts and Dullards” aka Powerlunch?

  128. Posted by guest | July 1, 2009 at 10:49 AM

I can’t figure out if Dennis or Kudlow is a bigger douche…
Nice publicity though for Bess and the gang!

  129. Posted by guest | July 1, 2009 at 11:08 AM

DK, just to be COMPLETELY clear….
    DICKWEED:(n)
    1) A completely self-absorbed, useless asshole with shit for brains;
    2) A person so irredeemably stupid that their idiotic behavior causes pain to everyone that they interact with.
…with thanks to our friends at Urban Dictionary.

DK- it’s time. Just do it. Join me.

DK WHY DON’T WE ALL BE (BLOOGERS) IN CABLE TV AND ALL FINANCIAL TV PROGRAMS ESP. CNBC?
I’M SURE CNBC TALKING HEADS WOULD LOST THEIR JOBS.
ERIN BURNETT AND HAINES WILL BECOME AN EXTINCT HOSTS as their are a LOT OF HOT AND FINANCIAL EXPERTS BABES AROUND.
DENNIS DICKHEAD WILL BECOME AN AEROBICS ASSISTANT TO SIMMONS IN SHORT SHORTS.

  132. Posted by guest | July 1, 2009 at 11:22 AM

I’ll bet his secretary won’t even pound him in the ass after that last clip.

  133. Posted by guest | July 1, 2009 at 11:24 AM

Sweet caps usage, @131. Go S yourself. Speaking of S-ing oneself, any idea if DK has the freddy mercury/george brett syndrome going yet?

  134. Posted by guest | July 1, 2009 at 11:42 AM

if this isn’t enough to send every one of you over to FBN u get what you deserve. I long ago (7 months mebbe?) ditched these clowns and went to Fox business, enough already with the “Look at MEEEEE” antics of the ‘anchors’ who are all a joke.

cnbc is getting pretty desperate- will do anything to keep viewers in a bear market. From santellis tea party to macke to kneale, their standards are plummeting by the day. Soon the network will try Jerry Springer type antics. That’ll get viewership up

  137. Posted by guest | July 1, 2009 at 12:27 PM

CNBC anchors are a bunch of tools- they are desperately trying to stay relevant with their absurd commentary and overly aggressive yet ineffective interviewing strategy.

  138. Posted by guest | July 1, 2009 at 12:31 PM

I wish Kneale would invite Jon Stewart to CNBC- I’d definitely tune in to that interview (read: beatdown).

  139. Posted by guest | July 1, 2009 at 12:43 PM

telling someone to leave CNBC to go to FBN is like telling someone to stop eating sh** from a cow and instead eat sh** from a horse.

  140. Posted by SageNot | July 1, 2009 at 12:45 PM

“Dennis Kneale Is An Idiot,” well he sure tries hard NOT to get it!
I’ve challenged him 1/2 dozen times, & not once has he or CNBC replied, NOT ONCE!
I’m too new to the Blogger’s type of
    communication & I don’t type, sue me!
Dennis wants publicity, has folks believing that he left Forbes for more money at CNBC, what a riot that is.
I suggest he try pushing is thimble sized brainchild (the recession is over) past one of Larry Kudlow’s frequent guests, A. Gary Shilling. I actually DARE HIM TO!
    http://www.newsletters.forbes.com/servlet/ControllerServlet?Action=DisplayPage&Env=BASE&Locale=en_US&SiteID=es_764&id=ProductDetailsPage&productID=82230600
Forbes still employ’s Mr. Shilling, (HINT!)

  141. Posted by guest | July 1, 2009 at 1:27 PM

Dennis Kneale and his ugly face, is a four eyed looser. He knows nothing about the capital markets. He probably couldn’t even walk you through an income statement. He appeals to pathos by using his annoying prepubescent voice to spat out headlines from yahoo finance. I hate this idiot with a heated passion. How in the hell did this guy get a job on national television. CNBC, I don’t watch you network anymore because of this guy.

  142. Posted by guest | July 1, 2009 at 6:14 PM

Dennis is too much of coward to respond. Hey Dennis, I’d be happy to come on CNBC and bash you in front of a live audience. Without a teleprompter and notes, you don’t know jack $hit about the capital markets and/or the economy. Bring it fat boy

  143. Posted by guest | July 1, 2009 at 6:36 PM

Did anyone catch the Campagnola reference in the ZH response? Could Tyler Durden have been the third wheel on Bess and CG’s date and if so, did CG drop rohypnol into TD’s shirley temple to take advantage of Bess?

  144. Posted by guest | July 1, 2009 at 8:08 PM

Anyone else watching his response right now? Kind of cool to see comments that I made/read on here today on TV. This fued is incredible PR for Bess and the gang. Can’t wait to hear her response.
    Kick his douche ass, Bess!

  145. Posted by guest | July 1, 2009 at 9:46 PM

@ 84- the man is far from intelligent

  146. Posted by guest | July 3, 2009 at 1:07 PM

I personally would like to appear on CNBC and shake hands with Dennis Kneale. He has the balls and intelligence to reasonally discuss the markets; unlike his critics, he uses facts and figures of relevant origins.
So all you chickenshit bloggers who have nothing to clog your castrated minds with except said chicken fecal matter, shut up or discuss the matter in a civil manner.
    Only adults need to apply.
Keep up the good work Dennis and I for one am very happy Dylan has left the building.

  147. Posted by guest | July 4, 2009 at 10:30 AM

    @146 Jeff?

  148. Posted by guest | July 7, 2009 at 11:50 AM

who ever wants to shake hands with Dennis is truly a f*ckin homo. He doesn’t have intelligence ahole; he reads off of a teleprompter. I’ll kick you ass.

  149. Posted by guest | September 3, 2009 at 9:07 PM

I am sick of this arrogant person. Whenever he shows up, I just jump off CNBC.

  150. Posted by guest | January 15, 2010 at 1:26 PM

exuse me, but dennis IS an IDIOT!

  151. Posted by Anonymous | August 16, 2010 at 9:53 PM

Kneale is right. Anonymous bloggers are cowards.
