Why not claim the recession is over? Its a pretty good gamble for a second rate talking head. In 8 months when they come out and declare that this was the official end of the recession he can play back the clips and look great, and if its a few months later, then no one ever mentions this on air and he loses nothing.

i STOPPED watching cnbc and turned it off for a couple hours during the middle of the day specifically because of kneale.
that has then expanded to the hour before power lunch, and if i have it on at all after 2 pm (or between 10 and 11) i have it on mute.

CNBC anchors are a bunch of tools- they are desperately trying to stay relevant with their absurd commentary and overly aggressive yet ineffective interviewing strategy.

"Dennis Kneale Is An Idiot," well he sure tries hard NOT to get it!
I've challenged him 1/2 dozen times, & not once has he or CNBC replied, NOT ONCE!

Dennis wants publicity, has folks believing that he left Forbes for more money at CNBC, what a riot that is.
I suggest he try pushing is thimble sized brainchild (the recession is over) past one of Larry Kudlow's frequent guests, A. Gary Shilling. I actually DARE HIM TO!

Dennis Kneale and his ugly face, is a four eyed looser. He knows nothing about the capital markets. He probably couldn't even walk you through an income statement. He appeals to pathos by using his annoying prepubescent voice to spat out headlines from yahoo finance. I hate this idiot with a heated passion. How in the hell did this guy get a job on national television. CNBC, I don't watch you network anymore because of this guy.

I personally would like to appear on CNBC and shake hands with Dennis Kneale. He has the balls and intelligence to reasonally discuss the markets; unlike his critics, he uses facts and figures of relevant origins.

Just because Dennis says that Mike had no points doesn't make it so. I think he made several good points, and Dennis cut him off very abruptly and did not give Mike a chance to respond.
Dennis allowed himself to rant on for over 7 minutes and for me basically proved the bloggers view of him.
True the things discussed are not exactly country secrets, but you also don't want some nut job tracking you down and doing something to you. After Dennis's rants, I would fear that he might be one of those.
