Technologically speaking? A truly devastating (actual) study has been released with results so distressing I question their legitimacy. Apparently Vikram Pandit, John Strumpf and Ken Lewis all have maybe possibly real Facebook profiles and, among them, less than 25 friends. I don’t know how this could be! Especially in the case of Lewis, who is literally deluged with friend requests on a daily basis from guys and girls he met at the bar the night before.
There are about 19 CEOs on Facebook but most don’t have very many friends. Kenneth Lewis at Bank of America has 13 friends, John Strumpf at Wells Fargo has 12 friends and Vikram Pandit at Citigroup has only 8 friends. A handful only have one friend each and Rex Tillerson, CEO of Exxon Mobil, doesn’t have any Facebook friends.
The research was conducted between May 29 and June 16 and UBERCEO tried to weed out fake Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook accounts in its analysis but notes that some might have been unintentionally counted.
It would be really nice and not cost much time or effort if everyone reading this would give these guys a little e-squeeze circa now. They’re making like no money, so this really would mean something to them. Plus, I’m told Pandito recently added some slutty looking pics from last weekend, so there might be something in it for you too.

are you for real? it’s pretty obvious that this woman charlotte laudier on facebook created these profiles to make it look like she’s friends with ken lewis, vikram pandit, john paulson etc. she even wrote on their walls and wrote on hers pretending to be them! it’s so sad. she also claims she was born in ’74 but her picture makes it obvious she’s actually in her 60s. she’s a party planner. now if this were created as a joke, it’d be mildly funny. unfortunately, i don’t think it was.
