At first I was happily daydreaming about a low-stress, stable, government job peacefully piecing together shredded documents, something that would fit well with my patient, conscientious personality. But then I woke up and remembered that they’d just spread ‘em all out between two plates of glass, take a photo of each side, let the computer do the rest, and throw everyone who worked on the project back into the unemployment pool.

Wasn’t it Arthur Anderson that shredded stuff? My understanding was that senior Enron managers actually ensured that shredding didn’t happen in their offices. The Enron side of the problem was all in the heads of their CFO office and recorded with the outside entities that they laundered money with/to.

If he used a straight line shredder it will be easier to reproduce the documents as opposed to an “angle chop” shredder. That is….uh….er….so I’ve been told.
