  7. Posted by guest | July 24, 2009 at 5:17 PM

Is this IBD? If it’s for research analysts, then not really that bad..

  8. Posted by guest | July 24, 2009 at 5:19 PM

This is for IBD. Markets and banking.

  9. Posted by guest | July 24, 2009 at 5:21 PM

Good luck recruiting this year. Stamford and no bonuses? Ouch!

  11. Posted by guest | July 24, 2009 at 5:43 PM

What a joke. There will be no qualified people left soon. First the commute to Stamford and now this lame compensation.

What’s going on at Bank of Amerrillwide…was hearing 60k for 2nd years…any truth to this, because I’m finding that figure very hard to believe.

That bonuses are based on years worked tells you all you need to know about the value placed on actual competency (and that goes for all firms where bonuses are based on years worked, including and especially law firms.)

    Yea, Stamford sucks balls . . .

They will have no problem hiring.
    Market forces bitches:
Huge surplus of graduates/redundant analysts/unemployed MBAs + dwindling market = No bonus for you bitches, be thankful you’ve got a job.

  20. Posted by guest | July 25, 2009 at 9:50 AM

That is not bad considering they shouldn’t even have jobs.
I think the people propping up their failures are still not impressed.

Sorry, children, that you are miserable but rest assured it is for a good cause. You see, a few years ago the seniors of that bank wanted to get rich. So convinced were they of their deserving splendor that they thought nothing of ruining the bank.
Cheer up, your pain now was their gain then.

  22. Posted by guest | July 25, 2009 at 4:45 PM

And their will surely be a special place in hell for them so its not all bad.

  24. Posted by guest | July 27, 2009 at 1:24 AM

    Anyone have MD numbers?
Oh yeah, I’m a hedge fund manager. :-)

  25. Posted by guest | July 27, 2009 at 10:44 AM

@ 24, you mean to say you have zero transferrable skills?

  26. Posted by guest | July 27, 2009 at 10:51 AM

@25 what he means to say is that he’s a douche who is repeating the joke comment “i’m a hedge fund manager what’s a [insert here]?” if he actually were a hf manager, he wouldn’t give a shit what md bonuses were at rbs.

    @13 – confirmed.
