This has been incredibly entertaining but might as well add a few facts to the story. He did in fact work for a group within Citadel but was let go with numerous others when the business was disbanded in late 2008. He certainly wasn't, nor was he ever, a trader, he was a middle office employee working in a financial reporting (accounting) group. He's not a bad guy, perhaps insecure and shallow, but not evil or malicious. As many of the pictures illustrate his judgement is lacking and as many have indicated, he was by and large a d-bag. Yes, I saw this firsthand as I used to work with him, lucky me.

You guys call yourselves investment professionals?! You all sound like a bunch of absent-minded housewives commenting on rumors and gossip that none of you bared witness too.

I worked with him closely at GSC. He did lead operations. But he also calculated P/L daily and DID execute trades occassionally. His role was more a dual role of Head of Ops and Trading Assistant. A bright kid with an ivy league education and a CFA designation.

Shame on you all.

Isn't this a bit extreme? For starters, don't throw Cornell under a bus. Secondly, I know Chris. And yes, he does wear questionable/metrosexual outfits, but he is really a nice guy.
