It turns out AIG head honcho Robert Benmosche’s statement that “My first charge is to get the company to operate at the level it used to operate, being the world’s best” wasn’t quite accurate. Before he gets around to that, and more in line with his admission that “I’m not going to rush to do this”, Benmosche was out repairing AIG’s image by carefully selecting grapes for his beloved Croatian wine near his villa.

is it just me or does this guy have an eerie resemblance to the guy who played Joe Pesci’s henchman in Casino?
was that an accordian in the background, because if so, that’s fantastic.

@3, OK, curious about the Lisa Weber comments I did notice that not was she an execute under him (no double entendre intended) but it looks like that ownership in a $2.7 million Boca condo was transferred from him and his wife (ex?) to Benmosche and Lisa Weber.

@5 here…should be “executive” not execute before the spelling police appear.
@ 3 and 5- so THAT’s where she is. She’s shackin up with BenMosche????
@5, nice find.
Lisa and Bob were at Painewebber, then Metlife. Lisa jumped several levels when she moved from Painewebber to Met.
Lisa is no longer at Met, would not be a big surprise if she joins him at AIG again.
ok WTF is on CNBC right now. This is going to give me night terrors.

AIG Executives better watch out, one of you will be let go to make room for Her.
From the cleave visible here it looks like you need a HB to TF MB.
Did we cover that already?
I guess it’s Lisa time, boys and girls. What a crock legend she has cooked up.
I work for his prior company. He made a comment (inappropriate for his audience) about a limp he had. Caused by a slip when boarding his yacht to leave the same Croatian villa. Gotta love how “hard” these CEO’s work. They definitely don’t earn their salaries! SAD
