Naked is still working with his designer to tweak the T's but would like to know what you think of this font. Too much? Just enough? Let's get into this. Also, it goes without saying but we'll do so anyway that after the shirts we'll be doing mugs, mousepads and, if you play your cards right, fleeces.

A little bit too "Santa's workshop", for me.
Posted by guest , Aug 19, 2009 10:49AM
I'll take mine sleeveless, please.
Thanks,

Posted by guest , Aug 19, 2009 10:50AM
@merkin- that's semen, not snow. what kind of sick santa's workshop do you work at?
Posted by guest , Aug 19, 2009 10:50AM
make it look more abstract - like the Citigroup Arc! That way we can wear the golf shirts into the office.
Posted by NakedShort , Aug 19, 2009 10:51AM
@4 thats what I was worried about. Unfortunately Zazzle doesnt offer a font that looks like cum spatter; you are seeing the best avalible option if thats the look we want to go after.

Guinea T's please.

Garamond, or nothing. Keep it simple! Make it look potentially serious!

I'm with 4. the original font felt like it might actually be used in the logo of a firm; this is trying to hard to play up a joke that the illustration has already done perfectly well.
Also Bess, can we please please send one complimentary shirt to:

12,
Are you a 14 y/o female? Surely you're kidding.
Posted by guest , Aug 19, 2009 10:56AM
Font is silly. It should look real. Also, can Hand and Bridge be different colors?
Posted by guest , Aug 19, 2009 10:57AM
Times New Roman or Arial def
Posted by NakedShort , Aug 19, 2009 10:57AM
@16 No. Its one font/one color for each line of text.
Posted by guest , Aug 19, 2009 10:58AM
I totally agree with @10. I want to potentially completely fool some people. This font is too much.
Posted by guest , Aug 19, 2009 10:58AM
Bess, you see so many "here is our performance" letters/mea culpas from hedge fund. How about choosing 4 or 5 and making it a poll?
Maybe, make it between Tudor's font, SAC's, AQR's, Einhorn's, and whatever font Sam Israel was using on his business card?
Posted by guest , Aug 19, 2009 10:59AM
first one better; this lettering looks like it has frozen cum on it
Posted by guest , Aug 19, 2009 10:59AM
original font was much better- much more subtle....
suck my crank
Posted by guest , Aug 19, 2009 11:00AM
I think the T's are still a bit large. Think skeeters for the use of the handbridge.
Posted by guest , Aug 19, 2009 11:01AM
I think the hands should look less red-lacquered, more stylized, so it looks like it could be real: more along the lines of:

I agree - original font.

I am just going to whack off on it anyway, so keep the font simple.

Need the original font Bess.
This version looks like something a hillbilly teenager buys at a truck stop.

I think you should go with a font that a legitimate company would use. (Otherwise, the "capital partners" bit serves no purpose.) The font above makes it look like a shirt you'd buy at Spencer Gifts.
Posted by guest , Aug 19, 2009 11:12AM
Also, single color font. Subtle yellow/gold would be perfect.

@62: some awful typographic design at these firms. For god sakes' stay away from Arial. SAC Capital's is the best, plus Bess has a crush on Stevie so I'm sure she'd like this. That's my vote.

I agree that the logo should be a bit more stylized. Perhaps looking at the designs of Santiago Calatrava will inspire a more abstract version of the design.
This is an inside joke for christ's sake...

I think the perspective is wrong on the logo, maybe it needs to be more stylized and subtle. That thing is like hitting the viewer over the head with a hammer.
Sorry. I do think it's hilarious and I like version 1.2 best so far, but that logo needs to be completely reworked.
