steve’s going to do what he does every night, which is call bernanke and hang up repeatedly while furiously masturbating.
@1 sick (but true)
This is fabulous news and coincides excellently with my planned come back.
-dick fuld
Where is the mandatory ramp on the /ES on this joyous news? Where, I ask you, where?
-ZH
I’ve got a pile of blow for my comrade if he’s interested he knows where I park.
-LK
Only if you call firmly gripping the shaft with one hand and slapping the head with the other, masturbating.
I didn’t mean to sound so tepid. what i wanted to say was, 2007 babay!!! we’re back!!
-beard
I’ll be streaking through Times Square at noon if anyone would like to join.
-vikula
We’re going to burn down this motherfuckin house! We gonna burn it to the ground!
-RBS spokesman
I’ll be getting pants pissingly drunk, as per usual.
-ken lewis
jaeger bombs and free rides on the jabroni pony of course.
-cg
I called it. Suck it dickweeds.
I am vindicated!!!
-dennis ‘dickweed’ kneale
Does this mean LSO will come back online? Models n Bottles?
-Guy who thought that stuff was actually true and blew thousands on overpriced clothes and booze, but never got any chicks
Meeeeeeeeeeep!!
-Dk
@9 you tell me when and I AM THERE!
-fred “here to party” goodwin
This is why they need Amanda Drury stateside all the time. Instead of the breaking news banner, she rips off her top every time something this huge comes out.
I called it first!
Times like these are precisely why I built my sex cave.
H.T. Nicholas III
@19 call me
-eliot spitzer
If Steve yells out Bernanke’s name during sex again I swear I will divorce him.
-Mrs. Liesman
I plan on spending a quiet evening at home, stroking my collie’s long, flaxen hair. You see, when you know you’re good, you do not need the approbation of others.
@21 good riddance sister.
-SL
Zen and the art of collie molestation
Excellent news. Now I can devote more time to my dog…uh,walking hobby. I particularly like the toy collies.
If someone counted the references to CNBC anchors on this site, both in the posts and the comments, they’d be surprised.
Greg, I admire you for steering clear of this nonsense.
@26 jump off a cliff
-maria b
Apparently PETA considers the tender bonds of my affection to not actually be ethical treatment
Kennis Deale
@26 Surprised how? Above or below expected value?
Lehman 150!!! Yes we can.
@26
We forgot this sight was supposed to be about serious journalism and into hard hitting pieces, just like CNBC is right? Was this the same CNBC that had 50 cent on? or the same CNBC that refuses to admit that Jim Cramer is nothing more than a percussion monkey who knows some ticker symbols.
Hasn’t the recession in Japan been over for almost two decades? They are way ahead of us.
Collies and Coronas!
Dennis F’n Kneale
My secretary’s not going to like this…
For us, there is no spring. Just the wind that smells fresh before the storm.
I asked a serious question about Japan a short while ago. I want a serious answer, preferably from #26.
36: Serious answer? On a blog site?
“I’m really happy for you Ben, and I’m gonna let you finish, but CNBC had some of the best recession reporting of all time, some of the BEST RECESSION REPORTING OF ALL TIME!!! WE BREAK STORIES, AND CG BREAKS FACES!”
@36
We make good change for very while.
-Mr. Nomura
What confuses me is how everybody claims CNBC is irrelevant, they are clueless etc., but still the unfunny Gasparino and Kneale impersonations continue.
-26
P.S. I’m all for the Druries though
Another jobless recovery here we come!
@40=DRat
Meep meep meeeeep.
Arf arf arf….
Meep meeeeeep meeeeeeeeep!!!!
@40/26
You do realize that Greg started all of the Dennis Kneale non sense don’t you? Obviously it was DK’s reaction to his post but Greg has lots of posts regarding DK, Dick Bove, and of course we all know of Jeff Macke’s legendary love of Greg.
@36:
I’ll give you an answer. But first, in your own voice, please say the following: “Now means now!”
I just wanna check something before I answer your important question.
@40:
Fuckin’ bullseye, Jack. I told ya, neva take dese fuckin’ bloggers seriously. Dey think its funny to mock what you call “irrelevant CNBC.”
-CG
BTW, I think the reason they mock it is because it’s irrelevant and sometimes relies on the Druries you like to look at…
Zed? Maynard, looks like Spider’s caught him a couple of flies.
BHO can S my D
@48:
FUBO
how about this ACORN thing? Why are Fox, Drudge the only news sites giving this much attention?
@50
do try to keep up honey, check yesterday’s write off
only 14 comments there, poor showing. you can do better
@52 you can do better by checking write offs and trying to keep up before commenting again.
@52
Lets think about this. Fox and Drudge = uber conservative. ACORN = uber liberal, so the coverage at Fox and Drudge might be a wee bit overdone. DB is neither of those extremes hence the “poor showing”.
What? Lies-Man never told me he was married!
When Liesman was a kid instead of cowboys and indians he played Regulators and Bankers.
@55: Yes, Steve and I have been happily married for 14 years. The only rough patch was during the brief romantic interlude that I had with Mr. Santelli…
-Mrs. Liesman
