That fat kid was an investment banker... right. Uh huh. Just yesterday I visited my Alma Mater -- NYU Stern -- and saw notices from Barclays looking to hire i-banking associates. Golden Slacks is also hiring 200 new asset managers, as reported in FT. These people who got the boot would've gotten the boot, anyway.
