@1 Your journalism has indeed brough peace to parts of the world, and on that account your nomination was given strong consideration. However, please note that actual accomplishment is not the determining factor in awarding the prize, merely "extraordinary efort."
And frankly, while you have certainly displayed extraordinary effort in "murdering the lats", we are a bit turned off by the agression. We usually don't give a shit when people overrun piss-ant baltic countries, but it was just enough to let Obama edge you out.
