    Sorkin’s a weasel but he’s a superstar now and nothing matters unless he gets caught with young boys.

    Remember two years ago there was a time when no one liked ARS, especially people who actually worked in finance?

    Bess,
    I do not have positive feelings for you.

    I think I might, to honor his contributions to dealbreaker, go as a naked short for halloween.
    Also, i just saw a tumbleweed roll by my desk. That is all.

    @4 who was Sorkin’s mistress? You know his brother is a top m&a lawyer. That’s how I think he first got some of his big stories. Sliped to him from his bro right after he closed a deal.

    Sorkin = douchebag.
    That is all. Hopefully no one’s brain exploded from the complicated formula.

    Generational rift at the NY Times?
    More people read my firm’s quarterly than their paper.
    The purpose of the Times is to provide gay baby boomers in Stockbridge something to light their fireplaces with.

    I would like to see our favorite girl Melissa Francis in Maxine Waters costume.

    YO!
    Maybe I should apply for that MD job at Bentley Assoc. You think they’ll hire me because of my name?
    Farnsworth Bentley

    TGFD thinks Bentley’s MD job listing poses somewhat of an enigma…
    “First, we want true team players who are willing to share their ideas and expertise since we operate in a collegial style.”
    Preceded by…
    “The firm’s compensation structure has an extremely high payout to its Managing Directors who originate and/or execute client transactions.”
    Hmmm…They want you to share your ideas all around, but the pay is better if you operate in the dark.
    WTF are they really looking for, anyway?

    And I really want to stress the enema posed by the MD posting. TGFD, on one hand, thinks that compensation/gratitude shouldn’t be linked with generating the most amount of profits in the short term. However, on the other hand, TGFD sees this as a perfect dichotomy, in that if TGFD is having TGFD’s way with a young male patron at the Dundee Saloon in DE, it’s beneficial for me to provide him with a reach-around in order to offer an incentive for the strapping buck to submit…silently.
    In short, TGFD is perplexed by pushing incentives, while limiting risks. It’s like safe sex – never have, never will.

    @15 (TGFD) Small shop, no choice.

    @16 FTW

  19. Posted by guest | October 31, 2009 at 6:19 PM

    InfiniteGuest@#18…
    Thanks for the answer to my question, but can you elaborate and tell TGFD why a small shop makes any difference?
    Bentley is looking for someone who is skitzoid, no?
    The Guy from Delaware
    p.s. Gay@#16…You were funny before, but now, not so much. Has Halloween impaired your thinking? I don’t think you know WTF you’re even talking about.

    @11 Sorkin may be a shitheel, but I think that Tim O’brien is the epitome of a petty schmuck.

  22. Posted by guest | October 31, 2009 at 10:01 PM

    Just put on my slutty Charlie Gasparino costume. Speaking of CG, what do you suppose he hands out on Halloween? Muscle Milk minis? Zubaz gift certificates? Rubbers? Signed copies of The Sellout?
